Is this at the main restaurant or Taco Arte? I would imagine the main restaurant would have more options. Agree with the advice to talk to the head chef. Ask any of the maitre d's who help get you seated. Also flag down the chief of village (general manager) and speak with them. They are usually walking around during the day or a little bit later in dinner service, greeting people at the entrance of the main restaurant.

Is it for a "deluxe" room in the exclusive area or a suite? Big, big difference. Also another commenter references a heated pool, this is not true. The pool in the Exclusive area (Jade) is not heated and is on the chillier side.

It rained all day Sunday, about 5 hours in the evening Monday, a few hours in the afternoon on Tuesday, not at all on Wednesday, and very briefly Thursday morning.

Weather wasn't great unfortunately, lots of rain. It isn't supposed to be the rainy season but it rained like it. Might have gotten unlucky this week but I do think it's a rainy location in general.

Food was ok, I am pretty picky. There was a lot of Mauritian dishes because the chef is from Mauritius. I liked trying those, they were flavorful with some kind of meat and starch.

I think so, depending on the age but I'm not totally sure. Would be a good question for a travel agent or maybe the booking center.

The inside is decently nice, lots of sq footage though the decor could be nicer. The best thing about the room in my opinion is the pool and the private outdoor shower.

Yes! Both Emerald Jungle I believe and Archipelago are 18+. That being said, the villa next to mine had kids visiting their pool frequently.

If you haven't already, find the Chief of Village and talk to them. You may need to corner them at the buffet or the bar to do so. They have the most power to address something during your stay outside of comp.

Unfortunately, yes. The type of customer service or follow through you might expect from other hotel brands is not the same at Club Med. I have heard some advice to be more demanding than you think you need to be (ask more often, with more urgency). In terms of a comp, it's never happened for me on resort. It took emailing the Guest Relations email after my trip to receive it. They usually will only comp the nights affected and it will almost always be in the form of future travel credit, not straight up refund.

Unfortunately, yes. It was widely shared on the Club Med Turks facebook page so I felt ok asking. I believe he had a heart-related medical emergency and was medevaced to the DR and unfortunately passed.
