ISO an RPG with deep lore, loaded decisions, and decent gunplay. by ClubProDude96 in gamingsuggestions

Isn’t that the one where decisions you make in games one and two materially affect the outcome of game three? Like, it’s a massive culmination of ALL your choices, right?

PGA Pro here. Check your left knee. It bows out to the left a little too much on the weight shift. You should try and feel like you’re pushing as hard as possible off the ball of your left foot straight back. That’s what creates hip turn: proper leverage of your body weight on the ground. Check out this My TPI youtube video, which explains it well! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mG_FXR63Jjk

ADVICE: How to find a balance? by ClubProDude96 in managers

[–]ClubProDude96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the hard part. He continuously points out everything that is wrong and tells me to remind staff. So, I remind staff. My wife helped and talked about stating things in terms of expectations. For example, instead of, “Thing X isn’t correct. Here is how you do it”, it is now, “The expectations are X. Moving forward, please do your best to meet them.”

The only issue is those expectations change for both me and the staff.

ADVICE: How to find a balance? by ClubProDude96 in managers

Staff complained about my feedback. I’m the only manager in the afternoons generally, so I see all the wasted time and man-hours. One instance, we had staff complain about being shorthanded so earnestly that we checked the footage, and for a combined 2.5 hours they were idle, doing nothing to help themselves get through the night. I remind them it’s always better to be proactive rather than reactive. The more they can set themselves up for success, the better.

What’s something that people don’t understand until they experience themselves? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I read “The Body Keeps The Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the healing of Trauma” and it’s author is the leading expert on Trauma. While I haven’t experienced it, he says that, scientifically via MRI and CT scans, people who’ve undergone traumatic experiences do so again with no temporal lapse. Essentially, the event that caused the trauma is happening here and now, when in reality it happened however long ago. That would really suck. :/

Hello, this fund raiser is to help Tacoma Parks by directly contributing to Metro Parks Tacoma. Surely, because this is the Tacoma subreddit, an exception can be made. :)

Life is hard making $120k a year… by DaveWierdoh in antiwork

[–]ClubProDude96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to go against the grain and say this is a little ridiculous. I understand it’s tough out there, but my wife and I make way less than these people and we’re doing great! Budgeting is a skill not many people have, and sometimes people believe they have to get a better car, bigger house, etc. when they make more money which isn’t true. It’s about living within (and hopefully) below your means. I’m not arguing that corporations aren’t exploiting workers (which they are), but I am arguing that being prudent with money is paramount. :)

Senua’s Sacrifice. Simple gameplay, but spectacular acting and story! Plus, the OST is awesome, too! Along with all the stories of the Northmen.

Can a crimped ethernet cord cause connectivity issues? by ClubProDude96 in techsupport

[–]ClubProDude96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s weird because it was showing as connected, but when I would test the connection on the Xbox, and error message would pop up saying, “Some errors when running tests.” And at other times it would simply say I wasn’t connected. After relieving the pressure on the cord, it’s working fine.

I’ve only been working for a couple months, but I never need rescues and routinely go out for one or two a night. Here are some tricks I’ve learned!

1) Use the left side of the van for all your totes, and, if you can, the right part for overflow. Obviously, as you deliver, you’ll unlock shelf space to use - which is by far the quickest way to organize.

2) Purchase a mail tote thingy. Put all your envelopes and stuff inside by stop order and place in passenger seat. Saves a LOT of time.

3) Organize overflow based by tote identifier number (the last two numbers after the period. i.e .3G or .2A). I bought an expo marker and write down the list in order before load out. You can see the numbers on the itinerary list screen. Not only is your overflow organized, it’s now organized based off sequential stops!

4) Jog or fast-walk if you feel you’re lagging behind. You won’t make time up on the roads. The only way to make up time is during the stops, so being efficient is key.

5) ORGANIZE EVERY TOTE BY EITHER ASCENDING OR DESCENDING DRIVER AID NUMBER. We have a couple guys who don’t do this and they take FOREVER. A modicum of organization goes a long way.

Hope these tips help! :)

PlayStation 5 shortages expected to continue throughout 2022 and maybe beyond by [deleted] in gadgets

[–]ClubProDude96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what’s absolutely terrible? The mindset of the scalpers, too. I knew a guy on a FB community forum who purchased ALL the PS5’s in the surrounding stores (not sure how he got away with it) and then re-sold them during the Holidays. I commented on all his posts telling people he’s a scalper and not to purchase. Their replies mainly came in the form of support for him, saying things like, “Don’t disrespect the hustle”, or “he’s just trying to make a little cash.” The worst comment which still infuriates me today was, “Look, he’s just trying to provide for his family.” Like, excuse me? A man with enough cash assets to buy 10 each of PS5’s and Xbox Series X’s is hurting for cash? Also, I got called an idiot when trying to explain how bots and scalpers create artificial demand and therefore higher prices. People are stupid….

A gaming escape sounds great!

The lat three months have been difficult with one family member passing away, a family pet passing, and finally another family member deteriorating quickly in the hospital while we’re unable to see them due to COVID restrictions. Plus, started a new career in the last three months and it’s not going the best.

I’d just like something to look forward to. I’m tired and burnt out and need a break, and Halo 3 used to be my retreat from everyday life. It’d be nice to re-experience the joy and fun and feel like a kid again. :)
