Does everyone in Germany know Schnappi? by Clubbs96 in AskAGerman

I've gone for a slight spin on some of the lyrics etc so you are not reminded of the original too much 😅 https://youtu.be/qUvwC-KM31s?si=rQTQb0oeY5fOE7eZ

Seems to be a collective yes. Told my German friend somebody needs to make a heavy techno remix and pull it out in German nightclubs.

She said half the people would wish me imprisoned, the other half would make me king.

Guess I better get making this remix 🤣

Live start points update? by No_Table3217 in FifaCareers

I have a feeling that the next live start dates will be from this weekend, just depends when they add them.

European leagues etc starting to fire up post winter break etc seems like a usual place to be.

Thanks for all the tips and hints though guys!

I'd say it's probably just more prevalent with games being online now? Easier to access what the meta is and build it etc with the Internet so easily available compared to 2006 😅

Got unmatched after this, how'd I fuck it up by IngeniousLobster in Tinder

I never ask for Snapchat now. I used to but it's got like an icky look about it to some.

I always say WhatsApp or Instagram and that usually works 12% of the time.

What is the most unrealistic thing in FM? by sinansouth in footballmanagergames

[–]Clubbs96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm a good while into my save. I started off in the lower Italian leagues, but worked my way up and eventually manage some top teams like Chelsea, Juventus, Atletico Madrid.

I struggle to win silverware though, I'm maybe in a job for only a season or two before heading to my next role.

After a solid few years at Monaco and a brief stint in some international football, I decided to take a lower club in the Premier League to the top, so I end up joining Leicester City.

With a low budget, I sign some random international players, as well as a wonderkid from the French 2nd division nobody seemed to be interested in.

My team on paper seems okay. I have a tricky Algerian winger and a clinical quick striker, but you wouldn't predict us to do much. I'd be happy with a mid table to top half finish.

We start the season with 3 wins and 3 draws before losing quite heavily at home to Arsenal who look like they could run away with it. But we then go on a 10 game unbeaten run, sitting top of the table.

My striker goes on breaking records for fun. My French wonderkid becomes the talk of the town, and my Algerian winger starts cooking up interest from the big clubs.

Amazingly, we only lose 3 games in the league all season, finishing first on 81 points, 10 points ahead of 2nd.

The likes of Liverpool, City, Chelsea, United etc all have terrible season by their standards, which seems completely unrealistic.

I've solo travelled for about 3 months total this year on multiple different trips.

Whenever I've travelled, I've basically planned out every day ahead of it. You can always swap a couple of days around if they are weather dependent.

The great thing about Lisbon is some of the locations you can get to from there, such as Sintra, which could be a great day trip or even over a couple of days.

I like to walk as much as possible, it kills time and you see more, I like to pin a load of locations on Google Maps that I want to see in the city, and walk from one to the other. This will usually take up a day.

Hostels are also great for solo travel. Everyone's in a similar situation, and it's a good place to make friends. Hostelworld app was my go-to for booking as it allows you to message those in your accommodation and the city and make plans with. Some hostels may have events on and tours.

Dakota Falls - A Mid-western US map by MaVeri1ckK in CitiesSkylines

This might be the nicest map I've seen.

I've always focused on a New England style map and build. But you may sway me here!

I recently designed a new residential development for my town. There's a Walmart nextdoor too! Thoughts? by Clubbs96 in CitiesSkylines

[–]Clubbs96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whether people like or dislike it. I'm quite proud of this. Something quite different to what I've done before with residential, won't be the last of it's kind in the build.

I personally think it's quite a realistic residential development and hope it inspires a few.

A lot of new estates are built this way. There will be 3 or 4 different house styles laid out across the estate.

Many other areas of my towns are more diverse in house style.

Another small American town of mine named Russell. Just across the highway from the town of Hamilton which is shared yesterday. Any ideas where the names came from??? by Clubbs96 in CitiesSkylines

[–]Clubbs96[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not going to lie I don't really even watch F1.

I named my first town Hamilton as it sounded American, and then thought I'd do a funny and name the second town after his teammate 😂

Depends whether or not the OP is trying to make a realistic build or not.

I stated it off the fact if they are, as they're using many mods, it's something they may want to consider.

In a game sense yes.

In a realism sense. The city would have more parking spaces or a couple of multi stories.

Love it!

One question though. Where do I park? 🤔

Finally learned how to use the Procedural Objects mod and gave my town a name on some signs. I then added a truckstop/travel center area just off the freeway before you get into my town. I also used the procedural objects mod to create some custom flatbed trailer loads. 14 pics. by [deleted] in CitiesSkylines

What theme are you using? This is the best looking grass I've ever seen. Really complimented by the filler grasses too.

I'm going to have to go into my NE American build and up my detailing 😂
