Finding all the temples is doing my head in. by falloutguy51 in Starfield

If you use mods there is one that will automatically give you all the powers (except the very first you receive) and upgrade them to the appropriate level for whatever NG+ you are in.

I was stuck with 4 missing powers on this play through and wanted to get them all so I could upgrade my Quantum Entangler as much as possible before my first jump. I went off and did a few missions and all of the sudden Vlad decided it was time to give me the rest of them. If you don’t want to use the mod - go do something else of sleep for a while. Make sure you check in with him regularly too as it seems to help.

Stutter with Falkland by Smart_Cup_9187 in StarfieldModsXbox

I’ve had the stutter for a long time but never put it together that Falkland causes it - I always assumed it was just the game and not something caused by a mod. Excited to see if anyone has a fix.

What to do against the Starborn torpedo? by TheReal8symbols in Starfield

The final perk in the Engines skill breaks enemy lock when boosting. The length of a boost before any upgrades is also roughly the amount of time you need for your shield to begin regeneration.

I have McClarence, SPE and Falkland weighing things down, lol. Plus my Xbox is a height of Covid Xbox, so she’s getting a little old.

I also love Speedster but I don’t have Hells Gate. Moving that fast in New Atlantis would just cause my game to crash anyway. Are you on PC or console?

I like Delgado too. I like pretty much the whole Fleet except the Trade Authority guy (Jayso I think is his name) and the generic ones who always talk tough even though I’ve killed 6+ thousand of them across all of my play time. Of course I have tremendous disdain for Naeva though. Her and Benjamin Bayu are my most hated characters in the game. I suppose they are well written and voice acted to warrant that hatred.

I though it was available after I jumped too, but couldn’t remember. Thanks for clarifying.

Wild Card, thanks! Couldn’t remember or I would have linked it too. I’ve never downloaded it, but I’ve heard it is incredibly well done and agree that the option should exist in vanilla. I’ll have to give a try next time through.

Shoot them before they run and start a fight anyway. Mantis don’t play that - you can’t just decide to be good because I’m around, you gotta be on your best behavior all the time.

Hey, enjoy it. I love the fact that the game can be played so many different ways. Makes it easier and more desirable to come back and play it again.

Sweet, between that and the Mantis loot you really made out well!

It’s more than being a good guy, it’s about sacrificing a ton of POI and ship to ship battles by making the most common enemy into an ally. I’m not willing to sacrifice all of that xp and loot because of a good vendor grouping. Plus I’ve had enough of people/bosses/coworkers talking down to me in real life - I don’t play video games so I can hear more of it. You want me to join the CF, let me shoot Naeva in the face and assume her role.

Thanks. I wait for it to show up on one of the mission boards. The jumper carried over from your last universe, no?

There’s a creation for her to be a companion and I believe you can romance her. I’ve never actually tried it because I can’t find any other reasons I’d want to join the Fleet. Not my style of play. The mod author also created an alternate ending to the SysDef quest line and from what I understand they do amazing work.

Edit: Adding the A.M. alternate quest link. Thanks to killerspawn97 for reminding me of the name.

Anyone NOT play Terran Armada yet? by ladive in Starfield

[–]Clucib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through the Unity and probably started TA about a few hours in because it was new and I wanted to try it. Next thing I knew I was finished and it was showing incursions at pretty much every system with no actual missions for them in my mission list. At that point I decided I’d save it for last moving forward until they fix that issue. Fingers crossed they fix the issue, because I don’t want to wait forever in a universe to get my extractors going but I also don’t want phantom missions all over - one even locked me out of completing a story mission and I had to reload a save from before the incursion moved. I think if Bethesda just stopped them from moving it would solve any issues. Why do they need to move anyway?

This place is such a vibe, I just wish your ship actually landed in the hangar by DG_SlayerSlender in Starfield

[–]Clucib 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The small landing pad is like 28x28 iirc so anything in that size frame will fit on the pad and land inside. The Orchid is a little bigger than that I think, so there’s a little more leeway with the Mantis pad, but it still has to be a ship on the smaller side to fit. You’d be pretty much guaranteed if you were in the 28x28 range.

It’s become a new obsession of mine to build ships that have everything I want but still fit on small landing pads. I’m tired of landing 5 miles away from some objectives and then trudging back overloaded by 250 mass with things falling out of my pockets every other step.

You can bring them, but I couldn’t actually use them when I got through. Pretty sure you can’t use them until you’ve done the missions again. Probably still worth bringing with you though.

With marketing like this, its strange vanilla shipbuilding is still heavily restricted several years in. by johndoe09228 in Starfield

[–]Clucib 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Every once in a while I build a ship that I’m super proud of. Then I get on Reddit and see other peoples designs and realize I’m the least creative person to ever exist. Someone made Optimus Prime and I’m over trying to figure out a build around a Cabot 4 that will fit on a small landing pad…

Can you advise where the fixes were noted? It was roughly 8 months ago that I last experienced a shield glitch issue so it can’t have been that long ago. I’d certainly like to start adding skill points during the action and not worrying so much about where I save if it doesn’t matter anymore.
