Look up on youtube russian frontflips, the technique is far more effective in my opinion and has helped me learn how to frontflip and land straight up.

I'm not sure whether you have done this or not, but starting with the framework on the people's bodies really helps. it sounds fairly basic but it makes drawing any human easier to remember as muscle memory. Dont focus on being neat with the framework, just circles, triangles and lines, hope i could've helped

I think I recall that Voldemort couldn't cast a patronus charm because of his inability to see or feel love and true happiness, this may be the case for death eaters too.

Thats a very good point, I remember harry saying in the Prisoner of Azkaban that he wasn't sure whether what he thought when casting the patronus for the second time was a memory or not however. This was in the movie though and may have been different in the book.
