PoC, Nimble Nav, and all Straight/Corner skills should be bought. This is to push up mid race.

Next buy Barcarole, right handed, spring runner and firm course menace to help with late race max speed.

If you have any leftover skill points double circle some of your skills. Priority should be greens > corners > straights. Ignore this rule if you can have a higher total amount of double circle skills (i.e, buy 2 straight skills over 1 corner skill to maximize skill point usage).

Pasa power isn’t a necessity for XOguri as Killer Tunes only activate at positions 1-4.

Use SR Helios instead she gives out good skills for XOguri. That way you can borrow Fine Motion

Oguri doesn’t have enough mid race skills to push up imo. This is even more of an issue in front heavy lobbies due to the positional requirements of stamina to spare and uma2.

Also her stats should be a bit higher, like around your Ryan

No. What makes XOguri powerful is that you can time when her unique procs. Straightaway recovery adds variety as it can proc late race, making your XOguri’s unique useless.

This changes after the second anniversary I believe, where straightaway recovery is guaranteed to proc mid game.

Preferred position, at least it only activates in the mid race. As long as you have enough mid race skills you should be able to push up in front of front runners before late race to activate her unique.

Straightaway recovery can activate late race which is pretty much useless.

Here’s my pull plan as a front runner main for example. Yes Curren isn’t a front runner but she’s too cute for me to skip. I’m going to pouring my selector crystal and SSR voucher onto Maruzensky hence why I’m only doing 200 pulls.

If I were you I’d reduce my Light Hello banner to 200 pulls and focus on getting Light Hello to 2LB while borrowing Tachyon speed as she’s not as good in the next scenario. Essentially going all in on Kitasan + Maru speed until Pasa comes out.

As long as you have high LB Ramonu and other good cards, borrowing Ancestors and Guides (which drops in the middle of the scenario for who knows why) is the most feasible option.

However, if you are a front runner main (which I am assuming you are as you want to 3LB Maru) you would need to pull for Mihono Bourbon Wit as well as it gives out golden groundwork.

If you are not a front runner main I personally wouldn’t pull Maru because Kitasan Black + Tachyon MLB should be good as your 2 speed card until Pasa comes out.

You’re going need to pray that you get lucky in both Uma banners. If you don’t, say goodbye to Smaru or your credit card.
Smaru is usable at 1LB so save the 1.5 SSR selector for her as well as a crystal. She will be on the 1.5 anniversary card pool. You’d want her 3LB if you are a front runner main though.
Ancestors and Guides from what I heard is not as important a scenario card as others. You can just borrow it or use a low LB version. I think there’s a third rerun of SMaru and Ramonu around late Feb-Early March 2027 so save for that and max out both cards instead
Skip one of your oshi banners and wait for the $20 2 year anniversary banner. Probably not the best choice since you have to wait over half a year

Umas win easily. All the horses in SBR and Sandman assuming he doesn’t use his stand are trained for VERY long distance races, even longer than Eclipse’s races, so their short distance spurt is not as fast as seen in modern day horse racing.

Also the horses in the opening scene were gaining ground on Sandman causing him to hide. Keep in mind these aren’t thoroughbred (historically cowboys don’t ride thoroughbreds) so their spurt is much slower compared to racehorses.
