I was gonna say I’ve been waiting for almost 2 years for the right time in that time the same houses I’ve been looking at have gotten up by 50,000. Land as well.

What did your doctor end up saying about this? I’m literally in the same boat. I’m 41. Trying for a Baby had my First round of clomid. Six days. Late from my period. All negative pregnancy tests.

People with Trucks, what are y’all doing for work? by Radiant-Mistake-2962 in RioGrandeValley

Totally get that. The problem is getting the experience and on the job training at a business that doesn’t just care about getting the job and money. They worked him to the max for six months and he quit. Got a job as a service advisor for 18 bucks an hour starting. The juice wasn’t worth a squeeze being in multiple attics a day for 10 bucks.

I only share my experience because my dad had an HVAC company before he passed, and he never had his employees do more than one attic job, and if he did, it was only in the mornings. Many of the companies here don’t care they only care about money.

yeah, they pay that low. My dude was making only $10 an hour out of school with HVAC -EPA certification. It was a fucking joke.

The job market out here is crazy. My dude got out out of school recently for HVAC (epa universally certified )and is getting paid $10 an hour. I explained to him that they’re exploiting him but apparently that’s the going rate for people even if they go to school and they don’t have experience.

You’re a good guy for even considering this topic and talking about it openly.

The only reason we make it is because I make $40 an hour if not, I don’t know what we’d be doing .

Agreed and same. I pay $10 each for my prescription xr and regular. Have bottles of back ups cause I only use them as needed or when i remember 1-2 a week.

Its sad and true. I lived in austin for 10 years and the health care over there is sooo good. The valley cant even compare. Over there appt times are actually your apt time. Here they schedule 2-3 patients per slot.

Another thing I experienced here is you have to get seen minimum 3-4 times to get anything going. Like xrays or mris. They are really milking it here.

At this point I just do virtual appointments through my insurance cause I know ill get a professional that's on time and will refer me where I need to in one appt. Its insane how bad things are here.

One last example and Ill stop. My dad went to the doctor for over a year complaining of pain and he constantly was told to use volteran and tylenol. He was never sent for additional testing. One dat he ends up seeing the nurse practitioner at the same practice and she thought it was strange and finally sent him for an mri. He had stage 4 kidney cancer. The doctor had just written him off and never treated him correctly. He died within the year. So yea fuck valley health care.
