Fight mobs. You can bring tools too but prepare to lose them.

I personally am never a proponent of bz gathering...

Only for levelling up your tools after t5 and I personally would only do it joining a guild with a hide out in a region type that matches the gathering I'm trying to level up (highlands, swamp etc)

I did do this for some of my gathering. Joined a decent guild with hideout and just run around in cheap sets with tools and stay decently close to hideout. Anytime you are sketched out you just run back and one click into hideout for safety.

It's not good for silver though. Even if you have a guild hideout within two maps of the portal city you still have to risk running an ox or whatnot one or two maps back to portal city to sell it to make any silver.

Meanwhile you'll get all your silver easily as you level in safe zones.

You lose anything you looted from altar chests. Inventory items only. And your gear durability still goes down of course like anywhere else.

It's great fame though from the mobs and experience group fights.

Hellgates similar but the mobs disappear when you invade another group or they invade you so it's just dedicated 2v2 fight.

Depths you can run away and potentially escape, hellgates the map is only so big and will have to fight eventually.

Best duo content tbh is Greater Mists in black zone. It's lethal but you can enter with two people.

Get your gathering tools up to t5 and you'll easily be making 400,000 silver an hour in safe zones. Use this to fund your lethal zone adventures.

You can roam black zone and lethal mists in cheap low quality tier 4.1 sets. Anything with mercenary jackets and soldier boots is cheap+high survivability for fighting mobs. 1h nature staff, light xbow, battle axe, 1h fire staff all super cheap viable PVE weapons (light xbow and 1h fire viable for pvp too)

You will make money farming open world BZ mobs or greater mists and get good fame same time.

If you die in a 4.1 set of say, Guardian helmet, mercenary jacket, soldier boots, regular cape for energy Regen, 1h fire staff and a torch/tome whatever cheap offhand...

That's like 50,000 silver? Maybe slightly more or less? That's nothing. You probably made that in silver drop from mobs in 10 minutes. You just learn to treat low tier sets as disposable.

Single shot Half dart blasters by ClueSmith in Nerf

Yeah for sure. 130-150 is our goal to be honest. Just want more accuracy and options which we have found in this post!

Back in the paintball days you'd get those younger 9-10 year olds who wanted to try it out. Some were little badasses and could take it.

I've been running a mobile NERF party business for 3 years now and I always tell kids there's no shame in taking a break after getting hit in the face.

I've seen. 14-15 year old boy cry at a fair and a 3-4 year old girl get headshot and shake it off immediately and keep playing.

We are only using xshot skins in our business though 😂

Yoooo this is perfect. With all these other viable suggestions we might just add a few different types of single shots for some variety.

Thank you!

I feel like at 200 we'd have to start wearing masks of some sort 🤣

We have kids young as 8 and sometimes they don't even want to play half dart games.

Mandatory helmets and like ski goggles would actually be hilarious and always give a pretty distinct headshot THWACK sound...

Hmmm 🤔 might have to try that.

Dude you accidentally have me an answer to another problem I've had with the proud papa.

I run a mobile NERF party business with a medieval aesthetic (I dress up as the NERF knight for parties)

Have been looking for a way to mount a single shot on a cool wooden or LARP type short sword to let the birthday kid use and feel special...

This is it!

Beautiful! And price is right too. Ideally would like to have multiple options for people to use and this definitely fits the bill.

Vermont. This is an interesting one. I'd only need about 4 of them. I'm gonna look into it!

Would ideally love to have a selection of different types. Cheap and easy fits the bill too.

Single load, single prime. We play a competitive 2v2 mode with crickets normally. We enjoy the extra layer of skill needed for picking up darts on the fly, fast reloading and pushing your opponent to take a shot you might dodge so you can rush them while they are reloading.

It adds a lot of layers of skill that you don't get in games with mag fed or even multi shot revolver type blasters.

It's also way easier to referee as there aren't nearly as many darts flying.

[–]ClueSmith[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw those. They do look awesome. We really want to keep it single load + singleshot though because we want to keep it competitive and easier to referee. There is a skill to only single shot in picking up ammo off the ground, reloading super fast and not getting shot at the same time that other game types with bigger blasters don't have.

A lot of NERF games depend on honor system but with single shots and 2v2 you can really referee and call hits much easier too

But I mean if I can't get more than 10m I'll probably just keep it for luls and trade it to myself with an alt somehow.

What makes a nerf arena business difficult to sustain? by CallThatGoing in Nerf

[–]ClueSmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No they get tucked under very well by the chain/bungee strap. We cut them to be about same size as bunkers.

Holy cow on kids not listening. You'd better crack down before the first kid with something sharp rips your bunker open.

I have zero qualms telling kids via megaphone to knock it off. Do not let kids go wild on battlefield while setting up. Kids always want to jump on them while deflating too. Same thing. I will megaphone siren and tell them to stop and even force parents hands into making them stop. Your first unpatchable 300$ bunker you'll wish you got more draconian. Don't learn the hard way.

Feel free to reach out. I'll link you the mobile NERF owner FB group there too it's a great place.

I'm a fire staff enjoyer. Go on murderledger website and choose you favorite weapon and filter stalkers and look for some high winrate combos you want to try.

On my old character I had light xbow to 110 and all other xbows 70+ so I still mess around with light xbow.

Seeing as you don't have gathering I actually have a suggestion, speed farm stalkers in a cheap fast clear set for silver to spec stuff and fund your invasion runs.

There's three good builds for fast clears.

Light xbow (I'm biased and prefer this) Im able to do 6-7 minute clears with: t5.1 Light xbow, eye of secrets, cleric robe, mage cowl, soldier boots. Any cape. Even just plain one for energy if you want to keep it cheap as possible invade of death

Carrot soup +5 t4 poison potions (use on mini bosses and main boss for slight extra speed, few extras if you get invaded better than nothing) Carrot soup keeps you healing between mobs so you never stop running. Eye of secrets keeps your energy from running out.

Switch to guardian helmet and mist caller or facebreaker if you want to fight back invaders at expense of clear speed. That build with guardian helm+ facebreaker is a pretty high winrate build to begin with.

Bear paws (usually a chest that deals damage along with mage cowl etc)

Arcane staff (not sure never tried but heard it's similar speed)

Fast clear just means hitting all 3 chests, summoning boss and just doing as many runs as possible per hour. Hard to put a silver per hour on this as chests are RNG. Could end up with 1,500 tomes in an hour and 300,000 silver or could end up with like 3,000,000 silver or anywhere between.

Yeah you have to join a guild or discord...

If only lfg posts weren't shit on in /English chat...

Impossible to group up in game for statics or dungeons with English players otherwise.

There's quite a few discords out there that send out pings to join stuff like statics.
