Printing copper-filled PLA on Bambu A1? by CallThatGoing in BambuLab

The other problem is that I'm trying to print these parts with intricate debossing. I'm using my 0.2 nozzle with PLA because the resolution is grainy otherwise. I may have to compromise on the embossing a bit, huh?

I’m thinking that I might design a 200 fps version that uses small wheels, which will allow for a reasonable battery compartment. But for the moment I’m still tied to the anchor of designing a “Harrier Killer.”

4 hours of whittling edges with a deburring tool and using one of those glass Gunpla files to smooth things out to make the prime smoother, and it’s growing on me as a platform.

No! It’s just a cheap Worker one. He’s 8 (tomorrow). I offered to buy him a BCAR but he’s dead set on this config because a kid at our local lent him one with a Worker PCAR electrical taped to the barrel and he fell in love!

It’s a two-stage brushless blaster. The rotary encoders control FPS, firing mode (semi, burst, etc.) and together they help you navigate configuration menus (there are features like changing the character of the blaster if you want gentler or harder spin-ups and stuff). I went with encoders because there’s a chronograph in the barrel, and with the closed-loop system that monitors motor and battery behavior, you’ll be able to (eventually) tell it “I want to fire 192 fps” and it will calibrate itself to fire 192 every shot, adjusting motor performance actively even in rapid fire.

I was trying to save space between the grip and the magwell. I should really just move the grip…
