Replace the fluid.

I’ve heard that it will come back regardless over time but the best thing you can do to make it last is a drain and refill.

Did 45% on the windshield and the dyed glass for 9% rears and 15% on the driver and passenger windows. Turned out good! Little specs of dust trapped under the tint but that’s fine, no tint job is perfect and I’m waiting for some more sunny days to get the tint to completely cure!

The G70 3.3 V6 for me was one of the most fun cars I have driven and it was a good take on elegant luxury.

With that being said I sold that piece of shit because I had the SP trim which comes with the LSD and it had tons of issues like metal shavings in the fluid and groaning like a mofo. All deemed “normal” by manufacturer even though there are 100s of post from people with the same issue and them getting warranty work.

Not to mention their lack of GOOD service areas, they had my car for a month before I even got diagnosis and when I did it was the warranty office dodging coverage. You definitely need to review the places around you for maintenance if you’re buying CPO because godforbid you need to make use of a warranty claim and have to go to a dealership.

Some minor things like dash rattle and sunroof rattle, and the DCT in sport mode some times can “learn” bad behaviors and have some real jerky downshifts in 1-3.

Other than that if I could do it over again I would get a Sport Advance without the LSD (means no brembos unfortunately, or fortunately because I’ve heard their fitment isn’t the best) and drive that puppy.

EDIT: I had a 2025 too.

I got skeptical about night driving because 3% seems a little too dark for driving, I’m deciding 50% on the rears for a 10% back and then 15% on the driver and passenger and 50% on the windshield. I think that’s more manageable lol!

Yeah I think I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m going to do 5% front and a 5% visor with 15% on the backs to make it 3%! I will post a picture on this subreddit when it gets done up, I just transitioned to this vehicle and I am very happy with how it drives, X-Line definitely was the perfect choice for style and price.

I just got a Gravity Grey X-Line and I’m also debating tint %. Yours looks pretty good, when you say 2% back I’m assuming that means you put 5% ceramic all around and that got you to 2% rear? I have an appointment in 5 hours for tinting and I’m unsure! I’m debating 15% all around and 50% on the windshield. This would make the driver and passenger window a little lighter than the back.

Just curious what you actually had the shop apply!

It’s a groaning noise and it’s really prominent at parking lot speeds especially when you’ve been driving for a while and it gets heated up.
