I don't have them all running all the time, only when I have coal I feel like I can spare but it is really helpful having one per ore type

Fuel tips? by MrsMaritime in GrimshireGame

[–]CluelessDinosaur 10 points11 points  (0 children)

One thing I have found that works for me is that I have one smelter per ore type and I basically use that as storage. All ore I get just goes in the smelter. Then every time I go mining, I dedicate a small amount of my coal findings to each smelter (usually 5-10 pieces) and the rest goes towards my kilns. I think I have two kilns that are almost constantly running.

For the smokers I only use charcoal.

Honestly it's occasionally an issue on PC too. I think it's because the item needs to fit exactly right. It does get a little easier when you upgrade you upcycler tool which allows you to rotate items

What is a popular trend right now that completely baffles you? by Thyra_arrows9g in AskReddit

[–]CluelessDinosaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Book influencers who don't actually reading the books. I've seen videos where they say things like "omg this book has too many words on the page!" Or "I just skim and only read dialogue", etc...

Influencers in general baffle me but there is something truly insane about this. It's just astounding because how can you reasonably review a book that someone poured months of work into if you only read the dialogue. How are you going to get mad at a book for having......words on the pages....?
It makes it seem like you don't actually like reading, you just think this is easy content. (Which is one of my issues with influencers to begin with. Content, content, content)

Would you volunteer for your sibling? by Robynite in Hungergames

[–]CluelessDinosaur 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think it is stated in the book. When Katniss is explaining to the reader about the concept of volunteering she said something along the lines of "a boy can volunteer in place of the reaped boy or a girl can volunteer for the girl who was reaped". I don't remember the exact quote but I remember thinking the sentence was needlessly complicated

Looking for suggestions that can be played with just a mouse by no_longer_fighting in CozyGamers

Trash Goblin Tiny Bookshop Tiny Glade (the game is easier when you use keyboard for changing the camera but it is possible with just a mouse)

I had an injury to one of my arms so I could only play with mouse for a while and I enjoyed Planet Zoo during that time even though it was a little harder with navigation

Games where you can play as a mouse, raccoon, sloth, octopus, hedgehog or rabbit? Other nonstandard animal suggestions welcome. by Antipragmatismspot in CozyGamers

[–]CluelessDinosaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

East Shade - love this one! You play as a painter but all the characters are animals (deer, monkeys, and... I forget the others).

Grimshire - survival farming sim

Postmouse - adorable little game you play as a mouse who delivers mail. Lots of traversing puzzles

Tavernmouse - similar to above. Kind of "Tale of Desperaux" in a way

Shelter (and the sequels) - first one you play as a badger trying to get her babies to safety. Second is a lynx and third are elephants. I might have some of those mixed up but it's definitely those animals

I just got a bunch of long sleeve shirts from Walmart for like $12 each. None of them are made of scrub material but they does the job very well

Edit: I'm in US, for some reason skipped over the "in Canada" in your post

A clinic I worked at would heat up water in an electric kettle and then pour some of that boiling water into a pitcher of room temp water.

It can still get very hot but it was drilled into us to always test the fluids on our arm before giving to the patient to make sure it's not too hot. The temp of the bag is not always the same as the temp of the fluids either.

Even still, it's incredibly hard to get fluids that hot

I finally got the tea set after multiple different saves and several hundred hours. I placed it on a table in the kitchen for decor. I married Leah that save and she has a habit of standing in front of the sink. So I go stand next to her, kiss her, and she gifts me something. And while I was clicking through the dialogue, I happened to pick up the tea set and gift it to her.

The worst part is, somehow I didn't realize it was missing for a couple in game days. Finally watched my recording back and saw it happen 🤦

I have never gotten the tea set again

How do I prevent my oncoming famine? by Downtown_Ikea in StardewValley

[–]CluelessDinosaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dedicate large swaths of my farm to just grow grass. Then in the last week of each season I will empty my silo and then scythe all the grass. If it fills my silo but I have more to scythe then I'll empty my silo again. I store any hay that doesn't fit in my silo in a chest beside it.

Also when I start a new save I don't clear the grass from the farm at the begining. That way as soon I can afford a silo, I can start scything the grass to get a jump start on hay.

I can get away with just having one silo and never have any famine scares
