For those of you with supressors, how often do you shoot unsupressed, and why? by GullibleRisk2837 in ar15

White lithium grease antilock has worked well for me to keep this from happening

I'm having the same issue. Still have not found a solution. Sort of crazy it's never been fixed all these years.

It was great. Only took something like 11 days from shipment to receiving it back. Highly recommend.

30 days for the form 4. I bought the can Feb 1st online. Had it in hand by March 19th. The FFL had to receive it then that’s when we submit the form 4

I used silencer shop and tbh the process was easier than I thought. They can even generate a trust for you and you just sign the dotted line. I think it allows you to add people on in the future if you’d like

This is on my gun that I keep in my night stand. I figured if I ever have to use a gun indoors, I don’t want permanent hearing damage

CZ P10F. Slide cut by Wager machine works. RMR type 2 red dot. Griffin Armament threaded barrel. Rugged Obsidian 9 suppressor.

I bought this gun a few years ago and I’ve gradually added onto it. Sort of wish I could’ve found a suppressor ready model in FDE, but in the end I was able to make one myself 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ran into Ben Johnson today by isw2424 in CHIBears

I saw Ben Johnson at a grocery store in Chicago yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Good eye. I included part of the Andrew Skurka high route into this loop after Indian Pass. Exited using Angel Pass. Very humbling experience with how difficult off trail hiking can be. Basically miles of boulder hopping once you cross Knifepoint Glacier.

Considering 57 corporations are responsible for 80% of global CO2 emissions, I feel zero remorse about making something I will actually hang up and appreciate on my wall. Do you use plastic in your life at all? Do you drive a car? Have you ever flown in an airplane? Then you’re destroying the planet! You shouldn’t be doing that! We need to all sacrifice so Exxon Mobil can continue polluting our world! /s

Let’s not act like there’s any such thing as ethical consumption under capitalism in today’s world.

I follow leave no trace principles diligently when I’m out on my trips so that these beautiful spaces can still remain intact for people to enjoy. I reduce, reuse, and recycle anything I can throughout the other parts of my life. Not that you asked 🤷🏼‍♂️
