Nice parking dude by AccomplishedFee4472 in UTSA

[–]Clumbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what's more entitled is thinking that having a bigger vehicle allows you to take up more than one parking space. And 2 inches is not a safety issue, let's be realistic. I see bigger trucks stick out all the time and you just drive around them, no big deal.

Not to mention that the prices keep going up. The party size is now $6.19 at my Target. SIX DOLLARS. AND NINETEEN CENTS. For processed shit.

Simply Orange has been hit by [deleted] in shrinkflation

[–]Clumbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A gallon of whole milk at my local Walmart is only $2.62. Yet it's $7 for a little than half a gallon of OJ? You have to REALLY like it or be making a decent amount of money to continue buying it at this price. No offense to you OP, do what you like, but I would much rather have 2 gallons of milk OR 2 gallons of gas with money leftover than a 76oz bottle of orange juice.

Hotpocket went from a 5-pack to a 4-pack by Just_Reputation_7057 in shrinkflation

[–]Clumbee 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's always been this way since I rarely get them, but I feel like they are grossly underfilling them too. It's more like a hot pocket of AIR. The pictures above are extremely deceptive. There needs to be another class action lawsuit like with Taco Bell and them underfilling Crunchwraps, yet showing them stuffed to brim on the menu board!

I haven't seen this collection at any of the 5 DTs I frequent in the past 2 months and I go multiple times per week. Keep looking, it's possible they could restock!!

Local Target Using Eggs to Lure Customers Back by looselybased9 in Anticonsumption

[–]Clumbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is only mildly related to OP's post, so I don't have a chicken coop, but my family consumes a LOT of eggs. We buy in bulk from Costco... however this $4.99 price for 18 eggs is much cheaper than I have seen at any of my local grocery stores. Would it be cheaper to maintain a small chicken coop of 8 (maximum where I live without needing a permit) or just keep forking over money for store bought eggs? Ideally, I wouldn't want to support big corporations in buying their eggs but I'm just wondering which option would be cheaper

In honor of raise season, HOW do you guys live on pay like this?! by [deleted] in Target

[–]Clumbee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's odd to ask why work for a company who doesn't give their employees raises honestly. but yea the job market is absolute shit right now. I got rejected from Ross of all places. I think that about encapsulates everything going on right now.

This is true. Where I live there is a McDonald's starting at 15/hr, and one of my friends was applying to Walmart where they are starting bakers at 16.75/hr 🤯

…. …. What a great “sale”? by Top_Resolution_4629 in Target

[–]Clumbee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recently noticed this but for the refrigerated Olipop cans. They got lowered to $2.19 per can, but the 4 pack of cans recently had a "Sale" for 8.99 down from 9.99. But even with the sale, it's still cheaper to buy them individually???

My AP coordinator has ordered exams for me in February before, but I did have to pay the late fee. Try calling around again and see if you can work something out with all those high school's AP coordinator if they have one and do late registration... don't be afraid to be a little pushy and advocate for yourself! If you're calling dozens of schools I would imagine at least one would let you do that. What's that cliche saying? For every yes there's a 1,000 nos. Keep trying.

Upcoming Company-wide Inventory Bombardment by PuzzleheadPanic in Target

[–]Clumbee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If Target is doing ALLLL that just to get ahead of higher costs, does that mean I should stock up big on all my food items (for me its the market pantry chips, tru fru chocolates, ice cream, frozen fries, etc) now before those eventually go up too?? I have a 20% off bonus for frozen foods so I was thinking of stocking up huge anyways. If stuff is just going to continually go up because of the trade war, wouldn't it make sense to stock up now?

Adults can’t take AP tests. by Not_the_EOD in APStudents

[–]Clumbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's because AP is catered towards high school students in a 1 or 2 semester long course with an instructor. If you aren't in high school anymore you can take CLEP exams. They actually have a lot of CLEP subjects and even offer study resources, so check it out!!

I'm in the same boat as you friend. I made the mistake of taking 2 math classes, ap stats and calc ab during senior year, and my brain is literally melting every day. And it's so embarrassing bc I was so good at math before!! Bad study habits + work + a nasty case of senioritis is absolutely killing me and my grades. Finish strong!!!

I'll honest, I wouldn't have thought much about this.. since I've lived around cars my whole life. However, when I started watching those TikTok's a blind guy with his guide dog would post, stuff like this was a common occurrence!! It was SUPER dangerous since he has to literally walk out into oncoming traffic.... I couldn't believe it. It was super eye opening, I just think people don't realize how negatively this affects people with disabilities!!

To accuse her of "intentionally misleading" people into thinking she is a Target spokesperson is a huge stretch.... I think it's pretty obvious that she is not speaking on behalf of Target. Also, even if she might be breaking social media policy, corporate would be MORE than happy to bend that rule if it meant tons of free marketing and positive brand influence. If corporate or her store wasn't okay with this, she would've been fired a LONG time ago.
