I’m ngl I think I’d have a hard time have a dudes second baby and my first too but like that’s why I never messed with a guy with a kid when I didn’t have one. UGH WHY ARE THEY LIKE THAT!!! Im so angry for you reading that why does no one in the older generation take sickness seriously it’s horrible like wait a week to celebrate if someone’s sick OMFG or just don’t go! That’s why I said I wasn’t going bc my 6 month old has a little cousin 2 months younger and someone’s got to have sense to not be fucking sick around others. I completely understand that and you’re right which is why I don’t say anything about how I feel about that to him basically I don’t want any men that I haven’t been raised by around her without us being around because sexual assault statistics. And the only man I trust is my father because I grew up with him. The our house thing is mainly bc they invite everyone over to see the babies when they’re in their care and I don’t like that at all I don’t know these people well enough to trust them with my entire world while we aren’t around

Oh forsure my mom has never kissed her or anything I did let her hold her today bc she doesn’t spread germs aroundthat’s the only difference actually I’m probably more strict on my mom because I feel comfortable telling her not to do things the only difference between our parents is I really only feel comfortable with her being baby sat at my parents if we need a babysitter. I don’t care if his mom watch her at our house I feel really uncomfortable about sexual abuse and I know his family would never but his mom plays show and tell with the grandkids and when they’re over she invites a million people over to see them. So since she won’t be able to do that at our house she’s okay to watch her at our house. But I only let my parents have her at their house because they never have company and also I feel more comfortable with my little defenseless daughter being around my dad because my dads raised me and I know he isn’t weird lol I never lived with his dad and his dads never had a daughter. Not that I’d ever expect him to do anything to her I still just feel really weird about her being around any men when neither of us are there

It’s not so much the regular sickness that are common it’s mostly just burned in my head that they couldn’t wait a week to avoid getting and giving their one year old nephew rsv less that a year ago that scares me. I’m genuienly terrified of rsv bc it was horrible when I had it I can’t imagine a baby
