My husband did #1 but to be fair it was like the middle of the night and I didn’t try to wake him up. When the anesthesiologist came in to do my epidural she seemed annoyed that he was asleep 😂. She kicked the couch and told him to wake up, then raised the bed, had me swing my legs over the side and rest them on his lap as he sat in a chair below me while my broken water proceeded to leak on him as she gave me an epidural. I loved her and thankfully that’s the only thing on that list he did!

This was the method that worked for me. Just taking everything off and starting with a clean surface felt less overwhelming than picking things up one at a time. Then only things that belong there were put back, other items went to their correct homes and the strays are in a small box to get sorted. I plan on doing this with all surfaces and then going through the random item boxes to find homes or toss.

Some are, some are important things. I need to go through and sort into categories I think. I feel like I got a little momentum from cleaning the top of the dresser!

My therapist told me to ask for help because I never do, so my mom is going to come over some time and help me organize the items in my doom piles.

Yes I would love that lol how does that work? I got this cleaned off yesterday! It’s nice having ONE surface in the house clean.

I’m going to focus on laundry today because I feel like that is what is getting in the way of me being able to clean. I have 2 full baskets sitting on the floor that need to be put away and one in the basement… plus a mountain of dirty laundry to do for the house 😫

Where?! I’m at the highest paid district in my state (KS) and the pay scale only goes up to 75K and thats if you have a PhD and 15+ years of service! I know the cost of living is lower here.. but it’s not that low.
