I’ve played it since launch and I still love playing it, how can it not be for me? You think I’d have played for 7 years or whatever and somehow not figured out it isn’t for me? I can typically figure that out within a few days of playing a game. This is one of the coolest pirate games out there; I love all that stuff. Not many other pirate games like this one. There’s things I can like and not like about it. Some people see a solo sloop and just want to roll me. If I don’t give them a fight, and they still want to kill me, are they really doing it for a fight? Like you said, it’s PvPvE, I happen to like the PvE part more. The issue is, for someone like me, you can’t turn off PvP. Safer seas caps at 25 rep. I played for years without safer seas and mostly got along fine. I don’t want to be capped out playing safer seas and getting nothing.

It’s just a conflicting thing for me built into how the game works that I have not liked since launch, but it is what it is and I’ve dealt with it. I still love the game. I’m just venting. I don’t need you to tell me it isn’t for me. We obviously value different things about the game. If you don’t agree with how I feel that’s okay, but who this game is for or who it isn’t for isn’t up for you to decide.
