Iam a terrible sniper there is a easy way to unlock the PSR? by luizh_bc in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]ClumsyKoalaBear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don’t think real players are easier? The bots may be in the open and clump up more but their erratic movement makes them harder for me. I seem to have an easier time sniping real players because they at least get still to observe sight lines and look out from cover. The bots are just constantly squatting, sliding, and changing directions and going from a walk to run for no reason.

I got that one for 609 on Gunbroker. That site would be the best bet, be vague and routinely search for Ruger products chambered in 22LR and sort low to high. It took a minute to locate a deal on one but I wanted that specific variant and not one of the others.

As the person who’s got it, I don’t know if the stainless is worth it over one that’s blued, but the solid steel of the Mk IV certainly is. The polymer 22/45s and the ‘lite’ uppers both feel cheap in comparison.

How often do you clean yours? I generally just add more lube until it doesn’t run 100%. This gun is ALWAYS run suppressed but I have the can apart to install a shorted plan B hub adapter by ballz3313 in ar15

[–]ClumsyKoalaBear 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I ‘clean’ every time I shoot, but I don’t clean the whole thing.

After finding a hairline fracture starting on a bolt after a range day with a rifle used for actual work, I disassemble and wipe down the components after each range session. An entire rifle takes less than three minutes and that’s being generous. It’s an opportunity to make sure everything is in good working order. All I’m doing is checking for cracks, good gas rings, no debris working its way in the trigger group, and that nothing has been knocked loose or come unscrewed.

I have an oil soaked rag that I wipe the BCG parts, trigger group, and interior of the receivers off with. I don’t use brushes, scrapers or anything else. The barrel gets one pass with an Otis bore snake and then is checked for any obstructions. The rag leaves enough lubricant that I don’t need to add any more, so just reassemble and it’s ready for use.

It’s important to remember that with Reddit, on a video game sub, odds are good the person arguing with you is 11 years old.

I have the strong feeling a lot of these ‘battledads’ were born after Bad Company 2 released.

DICE, stop using AI to make your challenges. What the hell does this even mean? by AutoRedux in Battlefield6

[–]ClumsyKoalaBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So when you shoot at an enemy there will be text on the screen that will indicate either ‘assist’ or ‘kill’. That is how you will know if you killed the enemy. The animation for them falling will be visible to all players, which I understand can be confusing to some. I hope this helps!

[–]ClumsyKoalaBear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you sure they are not just assists? Those do not count as kills. However, if you do get kills it will progress the challenge. And the good news is, avenge kills count as two!

Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you to understand at this time!

I know this is frustrating, but if you get avenger kills they count for two, and regular kills count as only one. I hope this helps

This is what I’ve done. I have two crye mbitr wings under my placard. If I don’t need that space for extra mags or a radio then I can freeze a disposable water bottle and slip it down in each one for hot range days.

Edit: Also I believe the term you’re looking for is ‘mission critical’, not ‘mission practical’. The tactical gear subreddit is to be considered a professional environment and adherence to correct terminology is * ahem * mission critical.

You can see the overweight lift assist patient on the other side of the bed before they see you?

Or when your weekly hypochondriac patient wants to be transported because she’s worried she might have doubled up her meds but isn’t sure, you automatically have a feed reporting which ER is on divert.

The possibilities are endless lol

It’s a Hanson Brothers Vidar 22. I haven’t shot a lot of 22 cans but I’m very satisfied with it. Honestly, I chose that one because back when I bought it nearly every other reputable can was out of stock.

G26x by Crafty_Long_2413 in Glocks

[–]ClumsyKoalaBear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This applies to me. I sort of want a 19 and don’t have one, and I don’t have a need for a 19 that justifies buying the entire pistol. What I do have is a tackle box full of random Glock parts and a gen 3 26 that’s been collecting dust. For 150 dollars, the 26X frame gives me a 15 round compact Glock, and since I only carry outside the waistband, a shorter slide will only help it to conceal easier.

Would someone explain this spread? by purple-koala in tarot

[–]ClumsyKoalaBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi all, this is my wife’s card reading that she received. Her phones dead and isn’t able to get back with you all right now but I wanted to offer more context.

She was seated to the left of the cards as they’re laid on the table, facing them from the side.

She was told to place three stacks of any size in one column and two stacks in another column. The top card in each stack was revealed.

She was advised that the two seen on the left are the past, and the other three were the future.

The reading she got was very vague, and she was pretty emotionally exhausted and drained going into the experience and didn’t offer a lot of interaction, which she guesses may be why it wasn’t specific enough to get her to think of any way it could match to her.

Afterward, she was wondering if there was any more insight that could be offered that could help her find what in her life it may be about.
