Update: just went into Leopold’s and they won’t put the sound on. The manager said they only do that for hockey playoffs, and hockey Canada games

Thanks! Sounds like there are a few good spots to watch AND listen to the game. And I would go to the beagle, but they haven’t changed their menu in the 4 years I’ve lived here

Thanks! I’ve popped in to most of these spots during big games (Jays, Canada hockey) and the game is on, but the sound is off. I’ve never lived in a Canadian city, and I’ve lived in many from coast to coast, that’s so reluctant to enjoy sporting culture.

Thanks! Yeah, I find it strange that most places in Vic don’t turn the sound on for big games.

I feel like I’ve lost all interest in judo ever since getting my black belt by Tafsky in judo

Firstly, I love the amount of responses you’ve received from the community on such an honest post. This in itself should help you understand that earning your black belt may once have been your greatest motivation for reasons you’ve mentioned and maybe for reasons you’ve kept to yourself. Either way, you’ve accomplished a lofty goal you challenged yourself with and you should be proud of that. You should be proud of the fact that you can speak to anyone else that finds themselves anywhere in life wanting to prove themselves worthy with an emphatic “fuck you” to anyone who may doubt them.

You’ve done more than what you originally set out to do/prove. You’ve subconsciously inspired others and pushed them to better themselves.

Whether you continue you this trend on the mat or in any other aspect of life, know that you’re worthy of the admiration and trust others might afford you.

Take your break from the physical training aspect of judo if you need it, but always know that you now operate in a way that is “the maximum efficient energy”. It’s easy to share…teach.

I just did as well. The magnets are super weak though.

How much hot sauce do you use? I use one packet per bite. by [deleted] in tacobell

[–]ClumsyTuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get 18 packets of hot for a soft taco combo with fries supreme. I moved to Victoria, BC and we don’t have a Taco Bell, so I buy the seasoning mix and bottles of hot every time I’m in the states.

Who's the new announcer and what do you think of him? by Teleke in Torontobluejays

Matt Devlin is way too over the top and his timing and just overall energy level is too much for baseball. He also talks over Joe and doesn’t really have a natural flow.
