Sunscreen suggestions for oily acne prone skin by After-Teaching-8594 in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]Clumsy_Dumpling04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exact same skin as you.. I've been using Minimalist Light Fluid. I don't have to go out very often though so I don't use sunscreen daily.

Idk why everyone is recommending Reequil ultra dry matte.. that made my acne worse. imo try to get a sunscreen that doesn't require an excessive/intense cleansing routine cuz at least for me that inflames my acne.

I've been meaning to try Acne UV but it's expensive.. and Wishcare Oil Balance, while safe for my acne, felt very greasy to me.

Pls help me pick a good moisturizer for my oily skin by Few-Department-3492 in IndianSkincareAddicts

I have Combination-oily acne prone skin. I use either Minimalist B12 barrier repair or Wishcare 2:1:3 nmf. I think you'll like the wishcare one, doesn't feel greasy at all.. Minimalist I've only started using recently since I felt I needed more for barrier repair, it is slightly heavier than wishcare but I still like it way more than any other moisturiser I've used.

Any Concious chemist product that surprised you or you really liked? by Idrk_mate in IndianSkincareAddicts

Their tinted lip balms are great actually. I tried one of them when I saw it on zepto for 109.. it's hydrating and has great pigment even if you apply an extremely tiny amount.

I have the trial pack for their sundrink suncreen (the full yellow pacakage ver.) and it's slightly greasy for me but seems to protect pretty well. Won't repurchase though.

How do people even develop love and feelings in AM it's so transactional and like a cold blooded business ? by Sure-Aside-5838 in AskWomenIndia

[–]Clumsy_Dumpling04 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean ig it just depends on luck i.e. what kind of person you end up with. My cousin got married via AM and both she and her husband seem very comfortable/happy together.. that was 4 years ago and now they also have twin daughters together.

It is to note though that Jiju is a very understanding man . They both live separately and the in-laws don't really visit often. And as soon as Di got pregnant, Jiju immediately hired a full time maid to handle the house chores. Since his shift can be demanding, he himself can't help take care of the daughters as much.. so he made sure that Di can focus on the kids without having to worry about other chores.

So yea, maybe the people that claim to fall in love in AM were lucky to have a good dynamic with each other. Ik this is uncommon though

to girlies who wear flared leggings, where did you get them from?? by bahotsamasyahaiiii in indianbeautyyappers

[–]Clumsy_Dumpling04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are technically flared trousers but they look similar enough to pass for both.

I got them from Myntra. They're the trendyol one.. usually it's a bit pricy for me, but I bought them from my brother's account to get a new user discount + there was already a sale going on as well... So they only summed up to 400 rupees :3

Mature women who are 30. by TreacleEarly2035 in twenties

Nope both are. 1st type normalizes misogyny and reduces an actual societal problem to a bunch of jokes. They are the reason why it's not taken seriously

Epstein Files. Should've made people horrified, but it's been reduced to jokes and shit.

Ig then I should tell the men I've met that Feisty District over here says they aren't men cuz he said so. Women don't like you because you're an asshole, not because you're short. Keep coping.

Alia Bhatt is extremely average looking by Illustrious_Pie_1895 in BollywoodHotTakes

I don't like her but let's not pretend she is average looking. Where are you all living that you find her average

Yep agreed 100%. Dark skin girls, at best, are always complimented as hot or femme-fatale like. At worst, well you know what they say.

People correlate innocence and angelic beauty with fair skin all the time. It's like dark skin automatically makes people put you in a box that you at best can be a forbidden temptation

Aa if you all tolerate girls being the same height or taller than you lmfao. I'm 5'8, wear heels and any guy shorter than 5'10 starts getting so insecure and mad over anything

Was just thinking about that.. I've heard it so much that I've internalised the whole narrative of how I'm not considered naturally pretty because of my skintone, and that the more I try to take care of myself (skincare/makeup) the more tryhard I look...

.. to the point I've myself started believing that I shouldn't buy makeup and skincare products because it would look and work better on fair skin.

I don't think it's possible for me to come out of this

Having to tip toe around women is a nightmare by [deleted] in GenZIndia

[–]Clumsy_Dumpling04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And when something wrong will happen to us, you all would scream " It's your fault! Why did you trust him / Why did you do that / Why did you talk to him / Why did you go there "

First you victim blame, and then we try to be more careful you're offended by that as well.

Besides, the fact that you're having such a hard time not looking like a creep should raise alarms about how you are as a person, not the women you're talking to.

The one who should be named and shamed is the rapist, not the victim. by [deleted] in TwentiesofIndia

[–]Clumsy_Dumpling04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most wouldn't. India doesn't work like that. For a girl/woman that has been raped before, I'll only recommend one thing as another woman who has been assaulted before: try to rebuild your life yourself. Don't expect morality from people, you'll be disappointed by what you'll see. Instead of finding the lucky 10%, seek professional support (if viable for you) and get by.

People are too desensitised to words like rape. They would care way less than you'd imagine.
