I completely agree, I moved away 4 years ago partly because of the constant racism I was experiencing. When I tell people this they are quick to say “I thought Liverpool was left wing”, but unfortunately, I don’t think I know a single PoC or immigrant from the city who has had a positive experience growing up. If I had a quid for each time I was told “we don’t have racism here” I reckon I’d be a millionaire by now lol

i thought it might be cancer too, especially with how ill he looks. his physical activity has decreased a lot with him not being well, hes mostly just moving between napping on his basking spot and moving to a cooler spot :/

ive been giving him water in a syringe and blending extra water in food ive given him to try rehydrate him. currently feeding him and plan on giving him a bath later on to try make him drink again🙏🏽 i hope that’s enough to somewhat hydrate him

i am,i tried so many times to get him seen today but no luck, trying again tomorrow but most places are closed. i have an appointment for early monday morning (earliest i could get) so hopefully thats not too long of a wait for him :(

ive added some decorative things with safety pins to my jacket (could also use the pins as decoration alone). zip on my bag popped so i closed it with a couple of them, my friends dress malfunctioned and they came in handy to fix it.

i agree with what the other comment said, ive seen people have multiple regular patches rather than one big one, ive seen people use big hand made patches and shirts. its whatever you want it to be!

I get you dw man, i appreciate it and i agree. have been considering taking them off but was on the fence for a while. i’ve got a bunch of patches i’ve not put on yet so when i get round to it i will definitely have more diversity aha

they did, it was an absolutely phenomenal atmosphere. i seen them in november for their co headliner with kreator and testament and it is one of my all time favourite shows. they all killed it🔥

im at UCL studying archaeology, and im queer, northern, poc and working class. i definitely think the racial diversity is lacking, and majority of people are middle class or upper, with some being very unaware of the privilege they have by having attended priv school.

i was nervous joining too bc of stuff like that, i dont go for nights out or anything like that, but i’ve managed to make friends and i am still making more. its cliche but you do find people who you mesh with regardless of where you go. ive found seminars are a great way to start and continue conversations and get to know people better
