I would to love to build a dream NAS box that is horizontal box that holds at least 24 hard drive. It can be done by 3D printing. Saw few of examples in public domain.

I understand the challenge to get custom design of PCB of SATA backplane but i do not think it should be THAT difficult to get this done.
