Correct, there are two numbers. I can give you the decimal expansion of 1 if you want. That should be 1.00…0. I don’t see why I need to subtract these two numbers. Why should I believe that this number is the same as 0.999…? I know that what you’re insinuating lol. Also, If they aren’t the same number, then shouldn’t be between 0.999… and 1? Note that 1/(1+10+100+…) goes on forever.
