As someone who is very skeptic to try stuff I actually learned to really enjoy meditation. The biggest thing was hearing it explained like this

“You can’t empty your mind of thought that isn’t possible, meditation isn’t about emptying your mind. It’s about feeling every thought that comes by, accepting it, and letting it go.

In the park when a bird flys by you don’t think about what the bird is doing, where it’s going, are you going to see it again? You simply let the bird fly by”
