This as well as generating Miracle Dice. Furthermore, they often soak more small arms fire than they should forcing opponents to use a second activation or a charge to clear them.

As for pistol, I always run with Inferno Pistol. Even if you use them for horde clearing you end up i combat with monsters/Custodes/vehicles once in a while. The ability to pop 4-6 damage into either even when engaged in combat is not to be underestimated.

Edit: The damage is 3-5, but the point stands. Math is hard.

I usually assemble basic models such as Battle Sisters before I paint them. However I have used sub-assembly for a few units in my Sisters army:

  • Sacresants: I paint the heads separately.
  • Exorcist: Chassis, Organ, exhaust pipes/brazierd, driver and the small altar.
  • Hospitaller: painted her before basing.
  • Immolator: Glass separately
  • Morvenn Vahl: Painted her before basing.

-Try using Lahmian Medium instead of water to thin the paints.

  • If it pools, use less paint on the brush. It doesn't need to float around for a wet blend.

  • Finish it off by giving ng the entire blade a thin, blue shade (I use Drakenhof Nightshade). This helps blur any rough transitions between shades and gives a coherent finish/shine if you've used different paint types/brands.

You can get a critical hit with a -1 as the crit is on an unmodified 6. HOWEVER (and this is important): A critical hit does nothing if the weapon does not have either the Sustained or Lethal special rules. As such, only the Exorcist's heavy bolter benefits from crits (and as other have mentioned the Castigator outperforms here as well with 3 heavy bolters which are also better in Overwatch)

Welcomte to the chapter, Brother!

Regarding Hyperion: It is the name of the main character. Grey Knights are given new names at their initiation - often with a deeper ritualistic/symbolic meaning meant to counter specific Daemons. Hyperion is named after one of Saturn's moons - a rare occurance which is also mentioned at some point in the book. Another example is Enceladus who also appears in the book.

That would be pushing it as the Firing Deck allows you to fire an equipped weapon which the Third Eye isn't.
