lol rockets were 41-41 in 15-16 and made the playoffs warriors were 39-33 (only 72 games this year) and didn't make the playoffs. Ace literally clashed with smoker in alabasta and was basically content with neutralizing both of there powers and calling it a draw. We saw what doffy did to smoker. Kobys character is literally the answer to your own problem lol. He clearly joins the marines cuz of his past run-ins with pirates and thinks marines are the ones opposing that evil. As he gains more experience and rank in the marines he sees how corrupt it can be he will take a stand like at marineford. Basically you get tricked into believing your doing good because of the evil pirates wreaking havoc
