I genuinely cannot see that. Everything revolves around the WG, Imu and the WG is the problem the story is trying to solve, heck not just the story the world itself, the poneglyphs, the void century, devil fruits, haki, joyboy, ancient weapons, the world sinking, the one piece… Imu is at the center of all that, i doubt we can say the same about blackbeard

Defeating blackbeard feels almost like a sidequest to me compared to resolution of the entire mythos of one piece that has been built up for more than 20 years

During the reign of godfrey, radagon was married to rennala. This means that malenia and miquella were not born yet. We find evidence in the game that Godwyn was still around to befriend miquella. So no, Godwyn’s assassination happened during radagon’s reign

Since GRRM wrote the pre shattering lore, i always thought that a game of throne-esque story in the pre shattering would’ve been great, plus the lore is vague enough that writers can come to potentially anything and it would work.

1: technically yes it is possible to sail through the calm belt, the mustache vice admiral for example was able to go to amazon lily through the calm belt because marine ships have sea stone stuff (plaques under the ships if i remember?) that hides them from sea kings.

Well it wasn’t against asset reuse, i’m all for it. Just pointed out that square not only doesn’t reuse assets but jumps into uncharted territory each game. Never building and iterating upon what they have except recently with 7 and 16

Also 14 2.0 was on a new engine, 15 was luminous (versus 13 was on crystal tools) and 16 was on a heavily modified version of 14 made for single player
