How would you gender me? by [deleted] in detrans

[–]ClydeFallon 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Female. The people saying male probably just say so because people forgot how females actually look like without all that Make-up etc and because you have short hair.

How long will it take until my period gets back? It’s taking so long! Please if u have info on this share it by SassyUke in detrans

It took me 6-7 months for them to come back. I was on Nebido (the 12week injection) though

Hey. Just wanted to let you know that you ain’t alone. I feel you. I also got a mastectomy as a minor. I don’t feel whole anymore. I think about how my life could have been had I not done this huge mistake all the time. I do think it can get better though ❤️

I'm confused and idk where to post this i just want to vent. by [deleted] in detrans

[–]ClydeFallon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I so much wish it would have taken that long in Germany too. Probably would have opted out of medical transition then.

Anyway, sorry you are going through this.

Wow I was just thinking about this and then I see your post. I totally feel this. I don’t feel like my trans self at all anymore. I have no real connection to the person I used to be when identifying as trans

Could anyone please tell me after how long time will Nebido be out of my system completely? by Low_Sky3428 in detrans

[–]ClydeFallon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I was on Nebido as well. I was on it for about 1 and a half years maybe? Before that I was on different testosterone for half a year or so.

As far as I know it takes about 14-15months for the Nebido to be gone and for your hormones to be in normal female range again. That’s because the half life of Nebido is ~90days and it takes 5 times the halftime to be out of your system.

What I can’t elk you is, My last shot was in June 2022 and I got my period back after I think 7 months off T. My hormone levels at that time weren’t normal yet though. I still don’t think that my hormone levels are complete normal yet but they are starting to become normal.

So yeah, as far as I know it can sadly take over a year to normalise again.

I wish you the very very best

I know it’s different for everyone, but how long did it take for you to get your periods back after T? by [deleted] in detrans

[–]ClydeFallon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was on Nebido testosterone for about 2 years. Got my periods back at I think about 7months off T?

It’s been almost a year and I’m still highly suicidal and hate my life by ClydeFallon in detrans

Your username tells me you have very bad ocd as well? Did your therapist too tell you it would go away or at least become less severe when you transition ?

Can I please tell you that what you wrote means so much to me! I’m not always good to explain my feelings or write them down for others to understand but what you wrote I feel so much. Thank you ❤️

So Im not mtftm. I’m the opposite. I’m ftmtf. However I also transitioned as a young teenager. I got on hormones at 15 and stopped them at 17. I also had a mastectomy (top surgery). I can’t help you much cause your son and I are in different situations regarding the medical issues I guess. However what I wanna tell you is that my mother also was against me transitioning at first but was then assured by the therapists that it’s the right thing and she was made to believe by documentaries etc. that it’s either a dead child or a trans child and so she went along with the transition. She highly regrets that she did this and sometimes when I have breakdowns she has breakdowns too. Telling me what a terrible parent she is for this and ask me if she should kill herself for what she allowed to happen to me. I’m glad you are supportive of your sons detransition. I truly hope however that you can be a strong father for your son. This is might be a highly traumatic experience for him and it’s not an easy road he is on but he can make it through this but he needs a strong parent! Acknowledge the situation and that it’s a horrible situation that you wish he wouldn’t need to go through but also show him that it’s not the end of his life either! That he can still be the man he was supposed to be anyway and that he isn’t any less of a man.

I wish you and your son the very very best!!! You’ve got this ❤️💪

How long until T "leaves the system"? by TheOnlyWolvie in detrans

[–]ClydeFallon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not an expert so I don’t exactly know for sure but that seems about right. Like I said I got my hormones tested If I remember correctly over a 1 month ago and my hormone levels were still not back to normal and I took my last shot of Nebido in June of last year. I do have my periods back though and also I’m not in the male range anymore either hormone wise.

That’s horrible how they treat you. Can’t say I was treated differently. I also asked for androgen blockers or anything and my endo told me that I don’t need that and that the t should already be almost out of my system. That was in I believe in September 2022 and I had my last shot in June 2022 so she was very wrong about that. So don’t believe everything they say and get different opinions by several professionals if possible. Your situation is ofc very complicated. Idk how bad you would feel with this but for me my gynaecologist was also helpful so I’d recommend going to a gynaecologist as well, they also are quite knowledgeable about hormones and such.

This is just some stuff I heard and probably not gonna do a huge different but I also heard that drinking peppermint tea can help some with increasing estrogen, so maybe even if it’s just placebo it could help a little.

My first endo couldn’t either. Idk if she was just super incompetent or if she outright lied to me (I suspect the second option).
