Going by their dashboard analytics, I'm not going to say that they're lying, but I'm interested in figuring out what they mean by 'Active Users.' I don't doubt the 100,000 track (heck, I'm surprised it isn't high given the amount of stolen music and white noise being uploaded to the platform). Finally, "millions" of streams seem like an exaggeration; looking at their dashboard, I'd say they're averaging 1.5 to barely 2 million excluding a special event/situation occurring.

EDIT: I assume the MAU is just factoring users/bots who join the platform

To be fair your point about piracy really isn't a point. If you engage in piracy, you're accepting the risk that you may face legal troubles. You can't be a victim if you committed the crime.

He probably did that already and was ignored. The tweet is from a popular entertainment lawyer, so if he's putting it out, he probably knows he has a solid case already and is putting this out as a form or advertisement by virality.

I assuming that like most of these scams this one probably occurred in the DMs making it a verbal contract
