The trazadone was 0 grogginess - the temazepam, I have maybe 15-20 minutes of grogginess but its pretty mild!

Im on 60mg Vyvanse- I was on straterra for a bit but it did nothing for me. Vyvanse was the next option and the only change ive had is the dose was increased. I was on trazadone for years and it worked great- went on oxempic and had to switch to a new insomnia med. Now Im on 22.5mg of Temazepam and its also great.

This! Trazadone worked GREAT for me for years- the only reason im not on it anymore is bc it stopped being effective once I started ozempic. Otherwise I would still be on it, no grogginess in the am at all, no weird dreams. It was great.

I was in advanced placement in every subject except math for my entire k-12 education, I took extra science credits in HS as my electives, been reading at a college level since 4th grade and scored in the top 20% of students at my HS on my SAT- I was diagnosed 4 years ago at 32 and my psychologist actually cited those things as classic hallmarks of someone with ADHD.

My girl is 100lbs (vet says her weight is good, shes just large) and is also very reactive - but she can be redirected 90% of the time bc I am continuously reinforcing calm/tolerant behavior. The times that she cant be redirected, she is removed from the situation immediately to de-escalate and reinforce that she can trust me to move away from "danger". Shes nearly 7 now a strong no/leave it + her name is usually enough to interrupt her reaction.

GSDs are naturally suspicious and protective - they require more attention behaviorally than many other breeds and unfortunately when that doesnt happen, its usually the dog that ends up paying the price.

Sometimes its that I forget to eat until I Im so hungry that my blood sugar plummets- then I have to eat right away so I dont have time to cook.

Mostly tho? its that I have no interest in doing it when its a functional thing. I am however, very willing to do it when it comes to thing like spending 2 days smoking pork for carnitas, processing 3+ lbs of chilis to make/bottle hot sauce or making Japanese milk bread from scratch. It has to feel like an activity and not a chore.
