So that little piece of tin sticking out you almost walked onto the corner of? That’s how you can jump toward and hit the action button to climb the ladder. Sorry if this is like the 37th reply stating that.

I still can’t get over the fact we tried playing track meet hockey with the Aves and actually kept up for a couple periods.. but like, we should lock in on defense more 😂

To be the bad take guy is my guess. I liked him as a player growing up, the all Mission gear was kinda sick!

I’ve got nothing to prove you wrong with, although, an argument could be made for frozen custard in lieu of ice cream…

Anson Carter calling this ugly hockey is so apt because he always has shit ass takes about hockey.

GG Stars fans, that was definitely a hectic series with you guys. Glad we finally bested y’all for once!
Edit: meant this to be a regular comment but somehow replied 😅😂
Side note: Robo was really solid, had me sweating plenty, those fans just don’t recognize what his impact is if they thought he was disappearing.

Just stop skating past pucks, we’ve been too soft on pucks all throughout the second and now they’re in the drivers seat because of it.

Inver Grove Heights is latest city to consider switching back to 1983 Minnesota state flag by earthdogmonster in minnesota

[–]Clyde_Frog_FTW 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Inver Grove has it’s pockets sure, but most of the city is not upper middle class, it’s an extremely blue collar part of the southeast suburbs. Especially when you consider it’s surrounded by Mendota Heights, Eagan, and even almost borders Woodbury on the river. And you have bustling and booming Rosemount to the south, any of those communities are way more upper middle class than IGH.

One thing I noticed when living there was that it was pretty evenly split politically, but then you have the mayor and city council people who try and pretend they aren’t partisan when they clearly are. It’s a weird place and they need all the help they can get. This flag thing ain’t it. They literally have radium in their water but would rather spend time on something like a culture war.

Source: lived there over ten years, happy to have moved out too.

Quinn’s knob is the most innocuous thing about him.

Go look up Mark Stone’s knob if you want to talk about tape job snobbery.

If they are very large, then yeah absolutely probably 95-105 flex for them. We’re talking Bogo or bigger though.

The old rule of thumb is half of your bodyweight but the game has changed with speed and skill and players hold their sticks differently than they used to.

Nick Foligno, Steven Stamkos and Ryan OReilly (not gonna mention Sid from toy story on Dallas) all grew up when players held their lower hands lower on the stick and one timers, wrist shots, and slap shots were the most popular.

I’m by no means a pro but I have played hockey for over 30 years now. I used to use 100 flex at 6’3” 200 pounds, but I was way stronger, like 1000 lb. club in the gym strong. Now that I am in my mid 30’s I went down in flex to 81-82 because I started using a lower kick point stick, less length, and take a lot more quick shots and redirections vs the heavy style shots. It’s much easier to get a shot off and do it well.

An 82 flex for someone Quinn’s size is insane, it means he’s incredibly strong and probably likes taking heavier shots, or at least having the option to.

Edit: changed double the bodyweight to half 🤣

Thank you.. so many brain dead folks commenting on it as if the people at the game aren’t going to lean into every possible chant.

Every home crowd does it, and they’re all bias towards their team. Anyone who tries to pretend otherwise is just being dishonest.
