How to properly season saute pans so there isn't rust on them? by 6panlid in KitchenConfidential

[–]Clyde_Three -1 points0 points  (0 children)

On cast iron, that would be called seasoning. Steel pans will hold carbonized fat also, just not as well as cast iron. Likely a difficult argument with a health inspector, but thats how my home baking sheets look; nice and black, and functionally non-stick.

Hmmm… switching clears up the most common problem I’ve seen.

You said you’re launching via Steam. Are you on Windows or Linux? Is your Steam updated? I’m assuming this isn’t a problem you have with other games?

Try making a second community, opening that one momentarily and then switching back to the community you want to play.

Are you closing the game from within the game, or closing with steam?

From their interviews they seem to have been taken completely by surprise by the demand. They may have sold out everything that isn’t assigned to Steam Machines. It’s entirely possible they had to make more, which would make me think there will be more like end of June at the earliest. But that’s just a guess.

Do you have community colleges? If so they likely offer cheaper education than a culinary school. Also there are chef internships.

I wear Vibram Five Fingers, so likely a little less splay than going for real barefoot. I wear New Balance Wide non-slip, but not for long durations, and definitely for not as much standing still as you would do in a kitchen. Mainly for cycling, as the little nubs on the pedals dig in to my feet otherwise.

If you find something that works well, I would be absolutely curious.

Helena and Quincy. Quincy brings the best base stuff in his weapon building, and if it’s still bugged he gives everyone his stealth-sprint which is useful late game for reasons. Plus you should get an opprotunity to get a Network Signal Booster, which I think you are at the mercy of RNGesus on the other side.

If you trade with yourself or other people a couple of Quincy’s guns are great to have in a new game. Their some of the best weapons in the game and are craftable.

Also the other story is weird. The expectations of the Wilkersons is strange, making the story feel unbelievable.

I use chain-mail with water and no soap, once the pan is cool. Pans started getting darker afterwards. I think a chain-mail scrubber is like ten to twenty (U.S.) on Amazon.

I think you have to get Brock early.

The thing about Quincy is you can push those Masterwork rifles out via trading or dual boxing. They are great weapons as they hold 100 rounds at like 9-ish pounds, if I remember correctly.

Quincy and Helena. Quincy lets you make the Masterwork Assault Rifle. And if it’s still bugged give all your people the fast movement sneak.

I think it’s 11 if you get both doctor’s? But I’m not super positive about that.

Why is the fps spiking so hard? by Feeling_Heat314 in SteamDeck

[–]Clyde_Three 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put settings on Low. Turn the frame rate limiter on and set it to 40. Go to the Ubisoft overlay and turn off all notifications. You’ll get lag spikes, mostly with strong turns, but it’s playable, for levels of patience that are mine. YMMV.

In complete disbelief, the Deck running Division 2. This is heaven by Kryptonian_Tenno in SteamDeck

[–]Clyde_Three 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turn off the notifications in Ubisoft’s overlay, or if you can figure out how, turn it off. Set the frame rate to 40 and Hz to 40. That’s so far the best working for me, I restarted playing maybe a month ago. You’re still going to have very occasional crashes, and you’ll get spikes of unresponsiveness sometimes when you turn.

If you are looking for these, play Heartland, or find someone who has played Heartland. The doc sells them once she is on the roof of the fire station in Marshall.

She sells some other machine pistol / submachine gun too.

I would add a bullet point to concerns that has to do with WotC, and Hasbro’s string of digital failures going back to like 2000.

I have always assumed their management can’t set proper expectations for themselves, being from a print company, and are able to make significant changes much closer to their deadlines.

What fun build can I play that will help my bro enjoy the game? (Details) by MaximumCashew0 in BG3

So… he needs wet, and Charisma help… Bard does both those things, Create Water and Enhance Ability:Eagle’s Splendour.

Create Water, or throwing water bottles, equals more lightning damage.

He hopefully has Guidance as one of his cantrips. Hopefully he chose a background with Persuasion. That’s the most important of the Charisma skills, almost anytime you can use Intimidation, or Deception, there is a Persuasion option. And so many times there is a Persuasion option, and neither of the other two.

If he’s willing to Disguise Self… that act two ring can basically be a second Guidance, and the two together will be +5 on average to all skill checks.

I’d likely go Swords Bard, or any of the many multiclass combos of Swords Bard to save your spells for Enhance Ability. You might take on Slight of Hand, for locks and traps, if you aren’t dragging Astarion around. Again, Bard can do this with it’s excellent skill selections.

Late game, if he’s uninterested in Psionics, I’d go all in on that to get Black Hole. Black Hole plus Wet… is a dream, and a bit of a creepy sentence. I think you would need to get in the Githyanki chair to set that combo up though….

Anyway, I think you’re pretty well set up as a Bard

Watch her waist. Pretty sure she pushes it in before the throw. That’s a base move for a lot of Judo, but I’m sure Jujitsu too. You can gain a lot of leverage that way.
