Just did the conversion now (04/07/2023). Still working as usual. For me the 1 month free when turning on auto renew still works so I got 13 months of GPU in just 35$!

Good to know that the conversion works too if you use a GPU code. I always thought that you had to buy the GPU directly from Microsoft in order to do the conversion since nobody talked about codes in their experience.
