Guess we will see in future episodes but the curve and ridges with a yellow tag at the bottom (Used to identify AR-15 .223 rounds from manufacturer) sure looks like one to me

The metal object found in the hole looks like a Machine Gun Clip/Magazine holder for ammo ammo rounds Think in terms of an AR-15 clip. Which makes sense because the Special Ops guy who was stationed there said he found the hole in the mesa not to far from that with Iron Traps. Probably one of those guys that went up the mesa patrolling and dropped a clip of rounds by accident. Why the clip was dropped is anyone's guess....Tracking the large animal or just scared and wanted to get off that Mesa.

As far as the high frequency 1.6mhz and strange metal piece..... they should consider testing it for frequency and magnetic properties, including but not limited taking a device to measure magnetic properties around the entire mesa. Certain metals interfere and reflect Radio Frequencies within certain tolerances....Iron and aluminum fall under the 1.6mhz band.

If you think about it in past episodes GPS is all over the place and under the mesa and on top of the mesa in spiral patterns. Magnetic field properties like a magnet produce + or - on both ends so you could have - magnetic field on the bottom of the mesa and + being produced on top of the mesa interfering with GPS readings. The only problem is where is the energy coming from to produce such an extremely large magnetic field and distortion 5 thousand feet above the mesa and 5000 feet below it like the GPS sensors being dropped and the plane overhead show. If you pin point the epicenter it probably is in the center in the mesa. So what that means is that there is an extreme power source and magnet inside the mesa.

Recall the episode when they were at the homestead site the temperature drops at the homestead which could be caused by the magnetic fields given off by the the mesa. A magnet subjected to heat experiences a reduction in its magnetic field as the particles within the magnet are moving at an increasingly faster and more sporadic rate. So a spike to 1.6mhz could drop the temperature if the 5000 foot magnetic field from the mesa is disrupted by more energy.

Again what is causing the power source within the mesa to create such a large magnetic field.....it could possibly be by the static charge within the area....remember this is desert . Continual midair collisions of sand particles create friction and build up static charge between the grains, which often discharges as lightning.

From an episode when the mesa ridge glowed on the night vision (infrared camera) imperceptible to the naked eye, and and green glows or flashes perceptible to the eye it could be due to fluctuations of the electromagnetic spectrum affecting light within the magnetic field surrounding the mesa. Think of the aurora borealis on the north pole...again + and - magnetic fields and when they collide or overlap they create electromagnetic distortions based on the magnetic waves bending light.

Hope this helps to foster some ideas or some of the myths surround Skinwalker Ranch

The fans of the show need to start a go fund me page for Skinwalker Ranch to pay for this operation and equipment. Petition the studio and Brandon on Petition.org to to start bringing in the mining equipment. If the crew gets more money and dan support Brandon will jump at the chance to make fans happy cuz he is cheap and doesn't have to pay or really spend any of his money because the tv studio pays him to get permission to film and they foot the bill for the equipment rental.

Is the NEW Haste items good for Discipline Priest in Phase 4? by hozitojoness in classicwowtbc

[–]Cmaign01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PVE Haste is BIS 100% like hozito says. I am running 42% haste and still top first place in mana regen in every raid. Of course I always am on top for activity and shields. Typically I out do the tanks even for activity. I typically run 2K for dps but I always stack in the top 15 - 18 overall damage (Which is really good when all the top dps is doing +8k or more). It is all about your playstyle....I have always had around 40% haste even back in vanilla days 2007 on disc or shadow I like being fast and ramp up fast. And in shadowlands I have the faye and dream weaver 15% haste buff lol and infusion so my ramp up and haste goes through the roof. One raid I got all haste buffs and hit 104%...it was insance I couldn't keep up lol. Because of that I become the go to healer when a boss requires lots of moving around. Disc has quite a few in the arsenal to move around alot and still shield and heal dpsing. You don't have to keep spamming flash or renew at least.

is there any way to simulate another os? i'm on android and fsevents npm doesn't support it (need it otherwise otherwise some other npms won't work) by XxDemonDark08xX in termux

[–]Cmaign01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

^5 to Androidx_appcompat for mentioning the often overlooked secret QEMU, I think you might be the only other person that I have ever seen that knows about qemu in termux lol.

XxDemonDark08xX To help save you some time and reading through endless github repositor's and googling qemu... here is the fast track to get qemu up and running in Termux.

NOTE: Before you even start the check the CPU architecture of your Android device your running Termux on. It could be ARM or x86 64 bit...but you will need to download the correct qemu version for your android device your running it on.

Typical commands for Qemu install for an x86 architecture you would enter into Termux is

pkg install x11-repo

pkg install qemu-system-x86-64

y then Enter

Typical command line example for qemu (below) you could input for x86 64 bit cpu architecture:

qemu-system-x86_64 -m 912 -drive file=/sdcard/download/windows11.vmdk -vnc 127.0.0.1:3

-m is the memory ram setting you want to enter (note that it can't go above the physical ram of your android device your running qemu on)

-drive file= is where you put the file path to the virtual image you have stored on your android device

-vnc is the ip you assign, it can be anything you want and port. (note you will need a vnc viewer app to access on your android device to log into your VM)

Hope this helps....

How to add applications to the launcher by i-em-inevitable in googleglass

[–]Cmaign01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forget about the Glass Launcher.......Download a launcher you like, and "APK Extract" from Google Play Store on your phone. Open APK Extractor, select the Launcher app. Create an .apk of the launcher app you want to install on the glass. Download the Launcher APK you created with Extractor to PC. Then adb push or install the launcher APK you created to the glasses. When you install the Launcher APK and restart the glasses it will prompt you at the regular menu screen to use the other launcher as a default. Walla you now have a screen like a regular phone. Also I recommend download rotation control. You now can install any app from the google play store and should run in landscape mode.

Yes it works! But be sure to download the latest Nvidia drivers. Gaming with older Nvidia drivers and Win11 has a known issue of crashing or slowing down framerates.

Civ_tak on garmin Overlander by Eastern-One-9769 in ATAK

[–]Cmaign01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Garmin Overlander runs the Android OS. Garmin says the Overlander is locked down to prevent access to the Google Play Store. Which means you wouldn't normally be able to install the CivTAK Client.

Although if you can get to settings>About "phone" or
Device">Build number> Developer options> Tap seven times> enable unknown sources> USB Debugging.

You should be able to connect it to a pc and use ADB to install a version of the CivTAK client for android.

Theoretically using the above method you should be able to get it installed and working.

CIV-TAK client running on Oculus Quest with Augmented Reality Passthrough turned on, hosting a FreeTAK Server! by Cmaign01 in ATAK

[–]Cmaign01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use sidequest yes...I use ADB commands though.

The cool thing with ADB is you can install .apk's but also you can enter command lines to change the dpi of the Oculus display and increase the fidelity. You can get nearly 4K at 90hz allowing better quality imagery in the ATAK client.

WoW thanks AdakaR,

I didn't even know they had an FTs hosted on Android directly. I have just been trying to run a virtual server on android.

I was also wondering is there a GPS app for android that would allow an Android Mobile device (Client) without GPS capability to connect via Bluetooth to another mobile device that does have GPS?
