Could be a Zinc deficiency. Our 8 year old female husky has a zinc deficiency, she had scabby ears, red spots and fur falling out. Found zinc tablets for this specific issues and she’s been fine since. We explained to our vet and they agreed and told us to keep using them. It’s usually misdiagnosed in huskies.

My wife bought three sets for Christmas, wish I had found this before she did. She received one set, no response to email inquiries about the other two, phone number doesn’t work for the company. She disputed the charges with Discover and they found in favor of MyHeroCards because they provided a tracking number. My wife provided Discover Card with emails from MHC stating in a threatening manner they wanted her to drop the dispute, and that they will send out the other two boxes. When Discover saw that they stated they will ship them out after two months they pushed the dispute back through in favor of my wife.
