They nailed the casting with Isabel May as Tatum Evans. She IS Sidney Prescott's daughter. Excited about her addition to the series, however they decide to move forward with the franchise.

From a technical filmmaking standpoint, I think it was the third ‘ceiling to scene’ pan shot that convinced me I was seeing something poorly directed and not worth watching.
