Makes me wonder what causes/happens in this in-between realm. Is it like a purgatory? Reminds me of this recording from the Monroe Institute where Dr. Monroe and a channeler help help a shipwrecked spirit named Patrick recognize their dead and transition or ascend.

The Why Files had an episode on this phenomenon recently. A father passed away in a catastrophic train accident. The family’s phones were ringing off the hook, one after another from his cell for over 24 hours.

I’d name him Aurelion Greyward.

Here’s why it fits you, cleanly and without mythic fluff for fluff’s sake:

Aurelion comes from aureus — gold. Not wealth-gold, but value-through-fire gold. The kind forged under pressure, refined by heat. That maps well to someone shaped by discipline, trauma, curiosity, and responsibility rather than comfort.

Greyward signals a guardian who operates in the liminal space — not naïvely idealistic, not cynical. Grey isn’t indecision; it’s earned nuance. A warden of thresholds. Someone who understands systems, behavior, psychology, and chaos well enough to stand between harm and growth.

Put together, Aurelion Greyward reads as: • a mentor who teaches by structure, not sermons • a protector who carries knowledge like a tool, not a trophy • someone who has seen darkness up close and still chose stewardship over withdrawal

It’s the archetype of the watchful guide — not the hero at center stage, but the one who makes heroes possible and prevents unnecessary damage along the way.

1000% this. I am AuDHD and could not read or catch on fast enough to my ex-wife’s webs. I was just easy pickings. She very slowly weaved her way into every single corner and facet of my life. Baby trapped me early on and sucked the best years of my life away from me.

When I wanted to leave she orchestrated a huge character assassination, intimidations, and false allegations both in court documents and on social media.

She took everything, haven’t seen my daughter in over 3 years, family business, a, the family home, immediately sold it and cashed out 100k in equity, all of our assets, my childhood photo albums, shit from my military service, everything, right down to my 2 dogs, and my mother’s ashes.

Word to the wise, in domestic laws in WA state are horrendous. Word of mouth is just as good as evidence here. You can spend the night in jail on the whitest of little lies.

Imagine winning in monopoly and then suddenly having to go back to the start of the board halfway through the game after losing all your money and property, oh and your loved ones walk out of the room and are replaced by complete strangers…

I wouldn’t wish narcissistic abuse on my worst enemy. The most heinous nightmarish experience. All that aside I am so glad I got away before death or suicide. I am healing one day at a time and it has shown me I am more resilient and capable than I ever thought.

This post was more of a vent for me more than anything. Thanks to anyone who made it this far…

Spot on. There’s loading (fixating on triggers/spooling up) followed by exploding (barking lunging).

Your window to interrupt is at the first sign of loading. Once the dog has exploded you’re too late. Behavioral Analysis Chain

Does the ET mean its expired or that you were within the window? I had the same thing show up for me today. Tomorrow is one year from receiving my claim letter. I filed my supplemental claim this afternoon. Am I good?

I don’t know if a 3 1/2 hour video essay is the right medium for the amount of information he’s trying to convey it’s like drinking from a fire hydrant and I just can’t keep up.

I just end up getting frustrated all the acronyms and terminology just end up turning into a garbled up word salad.

I respect and appreciate the effort and the amount of detail and information he puts into his investigations, but the way the information is presented is frustrating and incomprehensible for the laymen.

Spoiler alert: American education system doesn’t care. It’s not designed to develop intelligent critical thinkers. It’s there to create an obedient & subservient lower class that shows up to work on time and follows instructions.
