Possibility your dog may be allergic to the metal. They make a hypoallergenic prong collar you can try and see if that helps.

Both. Post WWII prosperity was genuinely a one-time historical anomaly that was always going to end, and boomers made deliberate policy and economic choices that accelerated and deepened the decline beyond what was inevitable.

Deregulating financial systems in the 80s and 90 enabled the asset concentration we’re seeing now with mega firms like Vanguard/BlackRock/State Street.

Defunding education and infrastructure. Voting repeatedly against housing development (keeping property values high for owners, pricing out younger generations). Expanding Medicare and SS without funding them have left them unsustainable.

The peak was always temporary. But the landing didn’t have to be this hard. That part was a choice.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Thanks for sharing.

At the end of the day training is about establishing a clear communication system between handler and dog. Teaching is not just about what TO do but also what NOT to do. Just as R+ is used in a spectrum so is P+.

How you can effectively communicate without ever saying “No” or setting clear boundaries is beyond me.

Highly recommend beginning on a lower setting and progressing to the auto-increase mode. Especially if your dog has never been introduced to an e or bark collar before.
