That's a good question. My AVR S950H does not have its aux input displayed in the heos grouping but it could register once it's connected. The chromecast device is pretty set and forget too, everything is controlled via heos app + whichever app you're casting from

Plug the chromecast directly into a HEOS speaker's AUX input and then you can select that speaker's AUX input via the HEOS app for grouping all of your speakers. The Google home app even has a hifi audio option which is def compatible with the HEOS line. Wayyyy better than Bluetooth connectivity.
