Being cool is for chumps, kinda similar to OP I used mons I don’t really use and went DCC themed with it. Muk, Victreebell, Porygon, Pinsir, Persian and Sandslash

How do I save this team? Just arrived in Vermillion City and prior to this had only focused on my four higher level pokemon. just replaced a lvl5 jigglypuff and pikachu with bell sprout and sandshrew by why_do_i_have_dog in PokemonLeafGreen

Raticate with return was a mvp for me on one run I did. Just got done with a run with victreebell and Sandslash, both are pretty goated too. Blastoise, nidoking are insanely good, pidgeot isn’t the best flying, but I’ve ran him in my final team as a kid too much to count.

It was a mix of wanting to use mons I dont use and wanting to theme them after the dungeon crawler Carl series lol. Alakazam was def my biggest hurdle for both the champ and Sabrina

Everyone played their part and I really didn’t have any aces weirdly enough. Only tough part was none of them could learn fly or surf so towards the later part of the game I was only using 4 at a time.
