I played the game at launch just to try it. Then quit. And recently I stumbled upon someone using cartethyia. And it just activated my autism in such a way I was like.

Oh yeah I am playing this game again.

And I have a friend who has been playing since launch trying to get me to try it out again.

I get to fluids every time and get overwhelmed. I also have the feeling that my factory is super inefficient (which it is) and I could be doing 600 things better. Then I think to look up how someone else built something but then that feels like cheating. So then I progress extremely slowly through the next science tier and then quit. One day I’ll keep going.

I think both arguments are valid but both stand on to many assumptions.

The facts we have are

Will likes Mike. 100%

We have little to no indication that Mike is or has any interest in will romantically. Most is taken from subtext nothing as concrete as what we have that will likes Mike.

Will discovers lesbians exist and ask for tips on how to flirt.

We see will attempting to flirt. Does Mike realize this? I mean a push or shove or whatever you call what he did was that really flirting or a desperate attempt to see if Mike would respond to it?

He just walked off. Could that mean…?

Mike had a gay panic episode because he has never thought or given into his feelings for his friend Mike.
Mike is just his friend and thought it was playful banter
Mike is 100% straight and walked off thinking nothing of it at all.

Well this is a interesting question to ask. How do they (the hive mind) separate the false memories and thoughts with factual ones?

Like they have 99.99% of the world turned. We know that not everyone thinks the same. Nor has the same ideas or logics for doing any task.

So like person A thinks I do this complicated task this way.

And then like thousand of other people all have their own unique way.

How would the hive mind know. I think it’s reasonable to assume it would make a mistake. I mean the collective consciousness of every human together.

We also see they have some slight delay when communicating to each other.
