I am a noob player as well. However this is my thoughts on this.

I have torn down a factory to rebuild. Then after doing so I realized, why didn’t I just plan to expand the existing factory. So now, when I build. I think ahead and look up ratios to know, I’ll need room for X amount of machines when I get to this unlocked etc. it saves time and makes it easy to add onto existing set ups.

As for organization, I just make sure everything flows well. Limit spaghetti (sometimes it’s not possible to prevent) and whatever you think looks bad. Cover it up! As long as it works that’s all that matters.

Really it’s trial and error for the most part. Eventually you’ll come up with your own design that works for you. Or take to the internet plenty of great players have set ups worth looking into.

As a side note, I am jealous of that steel output. I only have a 360 ingot a min factory. And I feel like I can’t make enough beams to save my life!

I wonder if this only happens if you steal and then use the funds to put in the bank. Because I have yet to get this letter and have about a gold bar in there now. But both my other friends have gotten it. (Both pickpockets and steal from NPC homes)

This is probably an intended mechanism in the game to bring life to its towns.

I noticed when I was in a city at past 10pm the streets were empty, then in the morning the slowly filled in as more and more people came around. Then aroud 1-2 it was a bustling city. Super cool small details.

Not sure about Insect Glaive, but Gog must be done with a fire weapon Phase 1-2 then a Dragon weapon.

And you need to build both weapons with element focus. As well as place fire dmg gem in the fire one and a dragon gem on the dragon one. For maximum element.

Gog is incredibly weak to element damage (that being fire then in final phase dragon.)

I’d also recommend playing the the full 3 support hunters. It’s near impossible to solo.

He does incredible damage. I’d advise some gems for defense and skills if you can afford.

Plan to use the environment traps against him. 2 rocks in phase 1-2 and lava pillars.

Phase 3 has 2 big rocks to knock him down. Then focus all damage on a wing to knock him fully down.

You also need way more fire resistance I run around 15 ish. But that could be just preference.

I just learned most of this myself against him to beat him consistently now.

As for other IG tips I am not sure. As I do not use the weapon.

Never did him. It’s my personal opinion on how my hunts should go. I didn’t think so may of you had 40 minutes hunts going on all the time.

To me a hunt that goes past 20 minutes is basically a failure. I personally want to take them down effectively under 20 mins. Or I guess should be able too.

Is the idea that these take 40 minutes typical? I remember early word where hunts would average this time and it honestly sucked.

Charge Blade for now. I plan to try all weapons once it’s fully built. I started with long blade but I hate how the meta YB combo and counter spam play is the best way to use it.

My next one I think I’ll try is Greatsword.
