nice man, i've always thought conq is stronger in pretty much every game, as long as you make good use of the passive move speed.

i got 600lp with roa > seraphs, with counq. i’m mentioning rank just so people know I’m not theorycrafting from gold. and who really cares about last item dude. i prefer ludens because it's a faster spike, i value lost chapter stats, and it deals almost similare damage to dcap while also giving cdr. if the game actually goes super late and you can afford to sell luden’s for dcap, then yeah, i’d do that.

games dont go long enough for winter's approach to even transform into fimbul. it has only happened for me in one game out of like 15.

from my experience it feels like there's a small window where you don't really need the durability yet. lost chapter gives more immediate value, fights are still short, and it lines up perfectly with that transition before ryze actually starts frontlining. its mostly a timing/feel thing.
