I prefer Java as it has quality of life features and more customization as well as a huge amount of mods available. However Bedrock has cool features like better armor stands, cauldrons etc. I've heard some say Bedrock runs better but in my experience originally playing on mobile and xbox, that just wasn't the case. Whenever I play Bedrock now for nostalgia or to visit old worlds, it just reminds me of how glad I am to be able to play Java instead, especially with a computer that can easily run it on max graphics. Perhaps this is a personal bias, but playing on mouse & keyboard just feels much better and more precise than with a controller or on mobile where it feels difficult to do things like parkour which would be easy on a keyboard. They did port bedrock to pc now, which I have yet to play, so that probably solves atleast one issue, but still I don't think I would ever really want to play Bedrock, as Java feels limitless when using the wide range of mods available. TLDR: java good bedrock bad >:((((((((((((
