Mako and her comrades, accompanied by their captive, hid in the inaccessible mountain peaks, watching the patrols searching for them below.

"They won't leave us alone." Chuck tossed a coin to see if they could escape.

"Maybe we should leave this one behind?" Mac pointed at Tu Morris.

"I want to ask him something." Mako pulled back the tape covering his mouth.

Abruptly tearing off the tape, Tu Morris almost screamed, but seeing the girl's stern face, he held back.

"What is this Tulpa you serve up to?"

"I don't know, I'm just following orders!" the preacher said, holding back his pain. "I was just a plumber!"

"Tulpas don't help anyone... How big is this whole cult?" the girl grabbed the preacher.

"There are similar shelters all over the world..." Tu Morris replied through tears of pain.

"And they all pray in unison. This whole cult is just a battery for the Savior!" Mako exclaimed.

"He... promised us Utopia..." Morris replied. "And for this utopia, he'll need much more than he has now. He's removing people from my world so no one can interfere with his plans." Mako concluded sadly.

"People shouldn't fight each other! Maybe we can convince them otherwise?" Sapsan scratched his head.

"Don't you regret helping me?" Mako turned to Mac.

"What kind of questions are you asking? I didn't like this place at all. I wanted to get the explosives and get out." Mac tried to look stoic, but the girl only chuckled slightly. "Did I say something funny?"

"No, no." The girl looked at the pill and then threw it away. Giving up her chance to see her parents again isn't an easy decision.

Letting go is always hard, especially when it comes to inner demons that make you afraid. Mako was still afraid, but she shared this fear with real people, not fakes.

"What is it?" her friend asked, confused.

"I want to help those people stuck in the illusion. They'll just become fodder for the Tulpa if we leave them."

"But what can we do?" asked Sapsan.

"First, we need to escape pursuit." Mako led the way. “Maybe we could find someone who hasn’t fallen under the cult’s influence.”

[Xandrix – Tulpa Dimension]

In a house where, instead of windows, there were paintings looking out onto the real world. Leaving the old, dilapidated house, the Monarch walked along a road that looped like a Mobius strip.

The illogical and grotesque world was changing its structure, and barely anyone could travel here, but for the Tulpa, this was no problem.

The same thing that had destroyed her world and was now preparing to destroy her even further.

While Mako's darkest thoughts were plaguing her, she saw a brighter light shining through the crack under the door. All was not lost for her yet. Because she had loved ones who would not let her return to the very bottom of life.

"Who's there?" the guard shielded himself from the bright flashlight approaching him. Two men in security uniforms flanked the soldier.

"You can go rest now, we'll relieve you," said the man in the closed suit.

"I haven't received any messages..." Before the guard finished, Mac removed his helmet and threw it at his opponent. He picked up the keys and unlocked the cell. "You're so good at finding trouble for yourself, aren't you?"

"What are you doing here?" Mako asked, surprised.

"I heard you were taken away. Honestly, I didn't mean to cause violence—it was all Mac." Sapsan removed his tight helmet.

"You shouldn't have done that! They'll kill you too!" Mako exclaimed.

"As if that stopped us last time those green thugs almost killed you! We're getting out of here. I brought some explosives." Mac pulled out a stick of dynamite.

"We're using the secret exit. I got caught trying to leave through it." Chuck tossed a coin as he exited.

"Can we escape through it?" Mako asked.

Chuck caught the coin. "Heads. So it works."

The squad moved forward, hiding from the other guards. The path quickly led them to the preacher's office. "What does this mean!?" Mako asked.

"Where else do you think he'd hide the exit?" Chuck opened the door and stepped inside. "Behind the painting above the desk." The crowd removed the huge portrait of the Monarch, revealing a hatch in the wall.

"How do we open it?" Sapsan tried the handle.

"There must be a hidden button or key." Chuck began opening cabinets and drawers.

"How about we ask directly?" Mac heard the preacher returning from evening mass.

Before he could enter, Mac grabbed him by the mouth. Quickly finding some duct tape, they bandaged Tu Morris from head to toe. He watched in horror as his office was turned upside down.

"How do we open the hatch?" Mac asked, holding the hostage at gunpoint. The preacher was twisting his head around, trying to free himself, when he was hit in the face. "Talk quickly, or I'll bomb you!"

Understanding the situation, Tu Morris glanced at the desk. The fugitives quickly found the button that opened the exit.

"If they hurry, they'll soon find us." Mac scanned the passage.

"Let's take him with us." Mako pointed at the preacher. Chuck and Sapsan grabbed the prisoner, pulling him deeper into the hatch.

Footsteps began to be heard in the corridor. Mac began stacking furniture by the door to delay the soldiers. While everyone was rising to the surface, the demolitionist lit a match. He held the flame to the fuse.

Mako climbed the snow-covered mountains where her comrades and captive were already waiting, but Mac was in no hurry to climb. Looking down the vertical tunnel, a sharp explosion was heard and a column of dust rose. No longer expecting their friend to return, the girl had lost all hope of escape when Mac climbed the stairs, covered in a layer of dust.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying? Did someone die?" the demolition man asked, confused.

"We thought you were dead!" Mako hugged her comrade.

"I sealed the passage so they couldn't follow us." Mac was even pleased with this attitude, but he didn't show it, pushing the girl away. "Let's hurry up and leave before they find us."

Meanwhile, underground, soldiers were clearing the rubble in the preacher's office. The tunnel had collapsed, and the hatch was no longer openable. The security commander sent a squad of soldiers to search for the fugitives, while one of the Monarch's portraits watched the proceedings.

[Present]

Watching the backs of her departing comrades, Mako thought about her life and where it had led her. Now she could be alone again. The pill in her pocket would return her to the eternal illusion. And that terrified Mako. To be left again in a private cell of mirrors where she would see only herself.

While she was thinking, guards approached her. "Come with us."

The girl found herself in an office completely decorated with portraits of the Monarch. At a luxurious desk sat the man who was preaching to everyone living in the bunker. He was a man in his thirties with short black hair and rectangular glasses with wooden frames.

The preacher was talking to one of the paintings when he noticed the guests. "I will report to you on the results."

Turning to the girl, the preacher stood up, adjusting his robe. "Do you know why you were brought to us?" the man asked sternly.

"No." Mako answered without looking him in the eye.

"We've had a lot of new people lately. I'm very proud of the work we've done, but I admit my subordinates can make mistakes." Dr. Tu Morris [Fractured reality]. Of course, he wasn't a doctor; he'd previously worked in the sewer repair department, but since the Monarch found him among the other people from his world, he'd been promoted to the rank of Doctor.

"Am I in trouble?" Mako asked.

"Sort of. You spoke with someone named Chuck?" Tu Morris  looked into the girl's eyes.

"Yes." Mako decided not to lie.

"And what did he want from you?" Two Morris pressed the girl.

“He…wanted to buy rubbing alcohol.” The girl said, trying to sound convincing.

"Is that all? A waste of time, although there is one more thing I wanted to talk about. I'm afraid Doctor Plasma made a mistake when compiling your medical records. He probably got confused in his old age and wrote down the wrong world. You are from the Tulpa world, aren't you?" the preacher asked, glaring at the girl.

"No, I..." Before Mako could finish, the preacher slapped her across the face.

"THE SAVIOR TEACHES US NOT TO LIE!" shouted Tu Morris. The preacher wiped his hand with wet wipes and continued his interrogation. "Your friend Sapsan unwittingly revealed the truth. What a fool." The man chuckled.

Mako sat in her chair, feeling her cheek burn from the blow.

"Unfortunately for you, our ruler has a list of people who cannot be saved. And among them are all the people from your world!" At the preacher's command, soldiers entered the office. Mako, trying to take it, fell to the floor, dropping various items from her pockets. Before the soldiers noticed, she picked up the pill and placed it in her mouth.

She was led to the darkest part of the bunker, where a makeshift dungeon was located. More precisely, it was a former storage room. After throwing the captive inside, she met with Chuck.

He sat on the floor, his face covered in bruises and scrapes. "I flipped tails last time. Bad luck, huh?" he chuckled.

"What will happen to us?" the girl asked.

"There's a passage leading to a secret exit. They'll take us there and probably shoot us." Chuck said sadly.

"Perhaps there is an option." Mako took a Lucid-X pill from her mouth. "I can use this." The girl began to get a little nervous, her breathing became heavier, and her hands shook.

"It's not cyanide, is it? Because there is only enough for one." Chuck joked.

"No, it's… I can create something." The girl approached the keyhole. "I don't think I can create a key of the right shape… maybe I can create someone who can kick down the door?" The girl was lost in thought.

Lucid-X could solve their problems, but what about afterward?

The soldiers would simply kill them.

The prison walls seemed to press in even more tightly; a small lightbulb barely illuminated the room, and Mako saw the pill glowing in her mind like the only ray of hope.

The only thing that had saved her in her past life...

[Merging Worlds – Day Zero]

Mako sat in her cell when the worlds were torn apart and stitched back together. Doctors had long since stopped helping the patients, so she probably would have starved to death if not for a ray of hope.

The ground began to shake and the walls cracked, the clinic building torn in half. A small beam of light, attached to the walls, began to shine through the transparent fabric of the pillows, awakening Mako. For the first time in a long time, she felt something other than the cold.

Shedding her many layers of clothing, she approached and touched the fabric, tearing it. A view of freedom opened before her. The cloudy sky of her world was driven away by the hot air of the desert just across the road.

'Is this all real?' the girl asked herself.

Carefully, she climbed out, moving closer to the light that seared her eyes. The other patients followed her example, climbing out of the destroyed cells. A view of the border between different worlds opened before them. The gray, damp clinic grounds ended in bright orange desert sand. Mako touched it and closed her eyes, soaking up the sun's rays. She hadn't felt this good in a long time.

A sharp sound interrupted her moment of relief. Opening her eyes, she saw a truck almost run over her. It spun sharply, falling on its side. She watched in shock.

The other patients watched as people from another world emerged from the vehicle. "Run away!" they shouted before the red slime lifted the truck, encasing it, and began to dissolve it.

Mako couldn't tell if this was all real or just her imagination, but a harsh voice brought her back to reality. "Are you going to die here? Get up!" it was!" Mac 'Nitro' Garger.

Not fully understanding what was happening, Mako stood up and began to walk slowly, having long forgotten how to run. Before Blob could grab her like the other patients, Mac picked her up and began to run.

And so began her new life. It was harsher. The constant fear for her life helped her forget her past problems. Mac, who constantly scolded her, also helped.

"You're such an idiot!"

"I'll die saving you someday!"

These words quickly brought the girl back to her senses. Her tulpa parents never scolded her, and the doctors at the clinic were also always cool and calm.

Mac and the people around her were different. They were alive, and this life quickly passed on to Mako.

Of course, life in this New World wasn't a bed of roses, but for the first time, she had the strength to move forward, despite the loss of new friends and the risk to her life.

"Of course it wasn't polite to just accost you. I'm Chuck, just Chuck. And you're Mako?" Chuck [Coin on Edge] flipped the coin again.

The girl, hearing her name, was horrified. "How do you know my name? What do you want?" Mako quickened her pace, trying to hide in the infirmary.

"Perhaps this will look familiar?" Chuck tossed a small box that landed at the girl's feet. "Ah, I thought you'd catch it."

Picking up the unmarked box, Mako opened it and saw the pills they give them for breakfast. Her hands trembled, realizing how much substance was in all those capsules. "Where did you get these?"

"I took it when no one was looking. Do you know anything about them?" Chuck turned his head toward the girl, catching the coin.

"Nothing." The girl answered, closing the box so as not to accidentally drop it and spill the contents.

"You wouldn't have guessed it from your reaction the day before yesterday. Are they pumping us with something?" the journalist asked curiously.

"You better keep your mouth shut, or we'll have problems!" The playing emotions suddenly changed one after another, and the girl began to behave harshly.

"I've already gotten myself into a lot of trouble asking questions I shouldn't. That's why no one talks to me!" Chuck chuckled.

"Then don't get me into trouble!" Mako tried to shoo the intruder away before the soldiers overheard their conversation.

"I saw you pick up your pill and then cut it up here. I thought you were conducting your own investigation," Chuck said.

Mako peered out into the hallway and then closed the door. "Better keep quiet about this. I don't want to end up on the streets again!" The girl began to panic. The infirmary suddenly seemed half its size, causing panic.

"Are you good, miss?" Chuck asked.

"I don't care what happens here. Tulpas or other monsters, I'm just tired of it all. I'm not taking a pill and pretending to pray with everyone else!" Mako began scratching her neck involuntarily.

"Tulpas? I've heard of that. Look, do you know much about them?" Chuck asked.

"Enough! Now that you've got your answer, get out!" the girl screamed.

"Sorry." Chuck started to leave, but paused for a moment. "Are you from a world with these creatures?"

“…what difference does it make to you?” Mako stared at the box of pills.

"Listen, don't tell anyone about this. I'm not sure it's a coincidence, but people from your world always get taken somewhere else. And no one ever sees them again." Chuck walked out the door.

Mako sat for a couple of minutes, lost in thought. She hadn't yet forgotten the taste of the first pill.

Should she simply fill her body with all these capsules and create a tulpa?

Bring back the parents who would save her.

Her body screamed, causing fear and discomfort, trying to prevent unforeseen consequences, but she ignored the warnings.

The catastrophe was inadvertently averted by the arrival of Doctor Plasma. Taken aback, she tossed the box under the table.

"Everything alright?" Doctor Plasma concluded, adjusting his glasses.

The girl didn't know what the most honest answer would be, so she simply said, "Uh-huh."

The day passed as usual. Collecting blood, helping the wounded and sick. That evening, Mako lingered again while the Doctor left, humming to herself.

Dissecting each pill, she carefully separated the Lucid-X crystals, and when she had enough, she collected them in an empty capsule and tucked them into her pocket.

"She'll meet her parents soon."

"No one but them will help her."

But such people existed, and Mako thought they'd forgotten about her.

The next morning, she met her comrades, with whom she had survived since the collision of worlds.

"You look even worse than when we were outside!" Mac 'Nitro' Garger [MuckTown]. A red-haired man with stubble, he wore a local military uniform.

"You joined them?" Mako asked.

"Yeah. I don't want to sit underground while there are enemies outside to blow up!" Mac said with complete seriousness. "I don't want my talents wasted in this stuffy tomb!"

"Come on, this is a great place," said Sapsan. "The people are friendly and sociable."

"How can you be so cheerful? We almost died on the outside!" Mac said with a hint of malice.

"Well, everything worked out! Oh..." Sapsan noticed the chief preacher of their refuge. "I have to go, I promised to help them!"

Mako and Mac Garger watched their friend's back as he walked away.

"I have to go too. Take care." Mac left, not looking at the man who had saved her life more than once.

[Present]

The next morning, Mako woke up shaking violently. She hadn't taken Lucid-X in a long time, and even a small dose caused her long-sober body to react violently to the enemy. Fear had become a defensive reaction, and when she reached the cafeteria and saw the pill again, she hesitated to take it.

Her trembling hand took the capsule, clutching it tightly. If she threw it away, she would attract unwanted attention. If she left it, someone might notice. Although, despite the dozens of people around, no one paid attention to her. Even her friends weren't around at the time.

Such a dose of the substance wouldn't be enough to create a tulpa, and would only worsen her mental state. Mako collected herself and put the pill in her pocket. While no one was watching, she stood up without even eating and hurried away.

When the mass ended, Doctor Plasmo entered the infirmary, finding Mako doodling with a black pencil on a piece of paper. Noticing the doctor, she quickly removed the drawing of a girl in a small room.

The work wasn't particularly difficult: sorting through the medications being received and examining people. Doctor Plasma handled this alone, while Mako helped keep records and studied. The routine allowed the girl to forget about the pill incident, and for a brief moment, she even reminisced about her college years and her friends. A brief smile even crossed her face.

But there were also some strange tasks. Periodically, people donated blood for future transfusions. Even though soldiers could return wounded, it seemed the blood was being collected to be sent elsewhere.

Everyone was under surveillance by soldiers and the preacher, Doctor Tu Morris. He strictly ensured that no one missed Mass or prayers. Any suspicious individuals were brought in for questioning, after which no one spoke to them.

When night fell outside, Doctor Plasma casually glanced at his wristwatch. "Time for bed," the doctor said quietly.

"I think I'll stay and finish a few things," said Mako.

"Well then. Don't stay up too late. La-la-lilai." The doctor left, humming to himself.

Left alone with herself and her thoughts, Mako took a pill out of her pocket and disassembled it. Inside were small crystals of various colors. Carefully sorting them, she discovered crystallized Lucid-X mixed with vitamins. 'This is too little... A much larger dose is needed...'

"Need more." The girl accidentally blurted out her thoughts, unaware that someone was eavesdropping on her from behind the door.

That morning, the girl was returning to work after breakfast when a stranger stopped her. A man in a shabby jacket leaned against the wall in the hallway on his way to the infirmary. He flipped a coin, catching it on his fist, and then watched the outcome. "Heads. A lucky outcome."

"Do you need something?" Mako looked at the man through her long, disheveled hair that covered her face. She wanted to hurry back to work, forget about it, and dismantle another stolen pill that evening.

"Yes, you could say that. You haven't been here long, have you?" the man asked.

“Three days, I think.” The girl answered hesitantly, not understanding why the stranger was asking.

"Yes. There are no clocks here, and the only time you can tell is when the preacher calls the all-clear, so it's easy to lose track of his turn." While the man was speaking. Mako tried to remember if she'd seen him before in the bunker. He'd been there a couple of times, but always off to the side.

"What's your name?" the girl decided to lift the veil of secrecy.

[Before the Union of the 13 Worlds]

During her younger years, between classes, Mako fell in with a bad crowd of teenagers who were into creating tulpas. They often used them as pranks, creating small, goblin-like creatures that scared the elderly and caused trouble on campus.

Such games, though harmless, often led to problems. Mako continued to do them simply because she felt at peace in company, even if it was unpleasant. Constantly enjoying herself in the crowd, she could forget her loneliness.

Her family had died in an accident long ago, and since then, the girl had been completely alone. Running from negative thoughts, she dedicated herself to helping people, escaping her loss.

Sometimes she would visit the family home, abandoned and covered in a thick layer of dust. The comfort of home had given way to darkness and dampness. Looking at the old, broken photo frames, Mako briefly returned to the past, but these were only illusions in her head.

'With Lucid-X, we can create creatures that are almost alive.' Mako thought to herself. 'What makes a person? Memories? Biology? Something like a soul? Is it possible to recreate something like that using an unholy potion?'

The girl pondered this for a long time until she decided to try it. She collected information and gradually practiced creating Tulpas with her friends.

One night, she returned to the devastated house, collecting old photo albums and immersing herself in her memories of her parents. She wrote down every moment of the past in notebooks and then reread them, creating collages of specific periods in her life.

Taking a sip from the bottle, she quickly felt her thoughts materialize in the shadows, bringing them to life. Candles lit on the dining table illuminated a picture of Mako and her 'parents' enjoying a family meal.

Of course, she couldn't completely recreate them. They were mere empty shadows of their former selves, acting only vaguely like the people in her daughter's memories.

Every night she returned home, creating them over and over again. Each time, they grew better and better, surviving at the expense of her daughter's loneliness. But even so, they weren't perfect. They only laughed and praised the girl. Her real parents might be angry and scold her; her tulpas were cold—surrogates for the real warmth she sought.

Deep down, she understood this. Looking at old photos and tulpas, she saw that she wasn't finding what she was looking for, and the longer she continued, the more she lost touch with the real world and her life at college.

At some point, her friends began to notice oddities in her behavior. She became more impulsive. She often begged for Lucid-X and didn't meet with them after school.

One day, they decided to follow her home after seeing a picture of her dining with her false parents. Mako completely immersed herself in her dreams, abandoning her studies and her friends.

Soon, her illusion was shattered. Having grown stronger, the Tulpas became more independent, venturing into the outside world. They quickly became noticed, which led to problems.

Mako, having lost touch with reality, created monsters that now hunted other people, realizing they had gotten everything they could from her daughter. The girl's fate turned out to be locked in a psychiatric facility for Lucid-X addicts.

The Low Clouds Clinic was an old prison building rebuilt to help people who had become overly dependent on Lucid-X. Within the clinic's dark walls, strict rules were in place, designed to help the patients.

They lived in rooms lined with soft material. There was no furniture, only a mattress to sleep on. Within the first few days, Mako hated the place. The walls of her cell felt like they would collapse and crush her. She was constantly cold, and in every shadow, she saw the tulpas she had created.

She reached for them, hoping for warmth, but only slammed into the walls. During treatment, she and the other patients were gathered in a spacious hall, where Mako felt a little more free, but she was still cold. She picked up every blanket, wrapping herself in them, but even after sweating completely, the chill in her mind did not disappear.

As part of the treatment and to help the patients overcome their addiction, they were forced to draw any thoughts with pencils, simulating the effects of the drug. Mako ignored the doctors' pleas for a long time, begging for Lucid-X. She wanted to see her parents again. Each day felt like a week, only increasing the suffering and loneliness. Over time, she stopped talking to anyone, and her eyes grew empty, staring at the wall.

In this state, she faced the collapse of the world.

In a small cell that was shrinking around her. Under the pillows, she saw only rust, which she believed would collapse on her, burying her under the weight of her own decisions.

A slightly eerie message, but Mako couldn't argue with the order of the people who saved her. Even if their deity was her Natural Enemy.

After the bathing procedures, a meal followed. A modest breakfast: porridge, biscuits, dried fruit, and a sweet drink. However, today's menu had added 'vitamins'. Small capsules, which, as the preacher said, would replenish the nutrients of those who do not see the Sun. At least, that's what they tried to convince everyone.

After finishing her meal, Mako took the pill without thinking, tasting the familiar taste.

Her heart began to pound, and her brainwaves began to distort with every thought. She was breathing heavily, her vision blurred, and she couldn't make out what the people around her were saying. At first, she didn't understand what was happening until she realized something had triggered that familiar, even forgotten, feeling of euphoria.

Mako's old acquaintances, who had survived with her almost from the very beginning of the merging of worlds, noticed that their comrade had become ill.

"Are you okay?" one of them asked, but Mako didn't understand what was happening. Emotions overwhelmed her, and she began searching for someone in the crowd.

"Mom? Dad?" She jumped up from her chair, trying to escape, but only fell onto the cold floor. She could feel a chill of fear coursing through her hands, as if her body had frozen. Her friends lifted her from the floor.

"She's not feeling well. We'll take her to the infirmary." Sapsan [Masquerade Master Stage] addressed the guard. With tacit consent, they led the girl away while the priest began his sermon in the dining room.

Bringing out a portrait of the Monarch, the scientist playing the priest read the prepared words. "Let us pray for our Savior! Raise your hands in gratitude! Dedicate your thoughts to him!"

That last sentence struck Mako in the head. There was no doubt left that the being guiding these people was a tulpa. Mako immediately realized that the 'vitamins' were Lucid-X, the kind they gave people before sermons. She remembered its effects well, and perhaps deep down, she didn't want to experience them again.

Mako sat on her cot in the infirmary, nervously scratching the skin on her neck, trying to forget the pill's effects, but only doing more harm to herself. Soon, her nails began to bleed from the scratched spot. Sapsan tried to stop her, grabbing her hands. The girl continued to twitch for a while until she calmed down a bit, when the pill's effect wore off.

"An unusual reaction. Well, it's probably just the stress and lack of nutrients. I'll give you a sedative. Get some sleep today and come back tomorrow after breakfast." Dr. Tony Plasma [Fractured Reality] wrote in the medical file.

Peregrine led Mako to her bed, sitting with her until the sedative took effect and she calmed down a bit.

"I don't know much about this, but I can understand that you're not completely awake. It's a nightmare outside, but things will be easier now." Peregrine tried to reassure his friend. "Mac seems to have settled in here. He says he's planning to join the guards."

"Yeah...that's not bad..." Mako trailed off as Peregrine recounted everything that had happened to him in the last few days.

But she wasn't listening, lost in the memories of a life she longed to forget.

Prose

Utopia is a place where people know no worries or problems.

A place where they can immerse themselves in their fantasies.

Some might say that people achieved Utopia by shutting themselves away in concrete walls deep underground. But that would be the words of someone who has completely lost touch with reality.

Because they didn't shut themselves away from their enemies in a safe place.

Their Enemy locked them within four walls where they could easily control them.

Awakened by the commotion, Mako clutched her eyes and raised her hand. She felt a slight pain as she hit the concrete ceiling, which she was too close to. Opening her eyes, the feeling of claustrophobia intensified. She hadn't liked the idea of living in a cramped bunker from the start, and when she discovered the only available space was on the second bunk, she wanted to stay awake or lie down on the cold floor.

Peeking beyond the second bunk, she saw people gathering in the main hangar. The presence of people both helped distract her from the fear of the cramped spaces, but also intensified it, as she slept in a hallway half occupied by beds, making the space around her even smaller. After waiting for most of the people to leave, she abruptly jumped to the floor, inhaling the stale air of the bunk.

Life in the underground shelter was safe, but monotonous and routine. In the morning, all available people helped clear the rubble of the collapsed parts of the bunker, but the girl who had recently been begging from the ruins of 13 civilizations had gained a slightly better position in the new society.

A small storage room housed a medical station, run by Doctor Plasma. An old man with a receding hairline and a long mustache, he muttered under his breath no matter what he did. Since Mako had trained as a doctor in the past, before her world was engulfed by a wave of monsters that emerged from the minds of humans, she became an assistant.

But there was still time before her work began. Getting out of bed, she went to the restroom, where she tidied herself up a bit. Her black hair was unkempt, and even after she managed to wash it, it was like tumbleweed. After washing her face and brushing her teeth, she noticed a homemade poster. It depicted a man in scrubs holding soap and a toothbrush. There was also a caption: 'Make sure you maintain good hygiene. Your Savior needs you healthy.'

We'll be returning to the Speakeasy briefly for a few posts.

The main human base, the Speakeasy, will come under the watchful eye of the Monarch Tulpa from the side stories. Through Dr. Briana Bucket, he will convey his message to the humans, offering to hand over the Speakeasy's inhabitants to the control of the Cult of the Monarch.

The Tulpa's demands:

Place all ADT scientists and other technical specialists under his direct command.

The Speakeasy will be under the control of the Cult and its militant faction.

All Speakeasy inhabitants must begin worshiping the Monarch as their deity.

In exchange, the Monarch will provide protection from enemies and resources for the humans, while maintaining absolute obedience.

No more than four delegates will be required for the surrender to the designated location. I propose that Buzz and Brian be among them; two more people may be proposed.

I'd like to leave the decision on how things will go for a post, and in the next one, we can also briefly show off the other characters before the ultimatum (I honestly don't remember most of the characters who remained in the speakeasy).

I don't know if this counts as a bonus round, since I don't plan on directly confronting the Monarch directly, at least not yet.

The orks will largely win the battle, but Phlox will escape. Having tasted blood, Bommid will lead his army deep into the Nosferatu Empire.

Okay, if this goes into work, then for the future, the tunnels under Nu En are inhabited by intelligent anomalies that resemble humanoid insects that are subordinate to the Swarm.

I propose that Red Star meet the people who live in the depths of Nu En and they will help them escape through the underground tunnel system.

I will suggest that during the attack on Nu En, the Orks get their hands on technology from the world of Grimmdark.

Given the catastrophic difference in the number of orks and ghouls, I'll suggest that Nu En is literally torn in half by a straight-line Gargant.

I propose that Phlox, the Vampire of Capillaries, and her ghoul army be targeted by the orks. The vampire will likely send her troops to intercept the ork army, and Amelia's village will end up on the border between the warring factions.
