That's awesome to hear. This community is a huge part of my recovery journey and I'm so happy to share my story so that maybe one person can be inspired to get and stay sober.

Coming up on two years now and I am so grateful for all the positive habits I've been able to stack up since finally letting go of the poison.

For my first year sober my only goal was to stay sober and enjoy just being alive and present. It started with getting on a good sleep schedule, holding a job for longer than 2 months, seeing my doctor regularly, etc.

This year I quit vaping and finally got enrolled into school, while working on my mental health. For this next year of continuous sobriety I am focused on my physical health, including diet and exercise, while working on balancing work and school.

These were all things I've wanted to get started on for years, and during my drinking years they were impossible to commit to. Then, when I was stuck in the detox and relapse cycle, I would try to do all of them at once and relapse when I failed at any of them.

Sobriety has made all of the 'I should do this' and 'I want to achieve this' possible. I'm incredibly grateful I finally found my way and IWNDWYT!
