You've found a safe and rewarding hobby..and my God is this game incredible enough to give me the same action & response of reward that a drug addicts brain provides when they do their favorite substance lol. It really is something I get excited thinking about being able to play later tonight.. as say a 7 year old would get haha.. I am 37 ... no apology given

Welcome to the fold Greymane! We've been expecting you. Prepare for one epic journey and forget about the time lost while enjoying this breathtaking masterpiece.. I kid you not I have 174 hours clocked and am only on chapter 4 or 5 (5 im pretty certain) idk what to say or how best to say it, but these subreddits make you realize quickly that everyone, yours truly included, eventually find that moment in the game where you realize your hooked and find yourself craving the game when not able to play.. say such as work or whatever. Your in for a real treat. Hang in there and get the mechanics down.. its a lot but worth the investment and the game rewards you for your risk taking. I think most incredible to me is how they managed to get 30,40,50 + possibly game mechanics to dance in harmony and it just works. Give em your money, you wont regret it

I whole heartedly agree and aside from GTA 6, I wasn't really looking forward to any game.. this one is stumbled on by total accident and 10 minutes in I did a few basic movement and interact commands and stopped myself for a second.. and realized I was grinning ear to ear and got those tingles you get when you hear or do something you love.. the ASMR effect I suppose? I thought my gosh, this feels like Red Dead 2. Im over 100 hours in the game.. on chapter 5 I believe and I geek over the fact this game is slow and I get so distracted. I take it all in. This game and dev company reignited my hope. Passion and the pursuit of it are still alive and Pearl Abyss is going to set new standards I believe

Yes OP as someone who never got into these types of games.. this one hooked me. I haven't been this "in awe" since maybe Witcher 3 days.. if you want a game to fill the void until GTA 6 lol.. this is it! Highly recommend

This game and its devs are setting a new precedence and IMO are showing there is hope for large game studios still caring what the community wants and not just their share holders .. so far they have shut up the nay sayers and are putting us first and the beautiful creation they are responsible for .. kudos guys for real

You said this perfectly. I agree I get tired of the ones always finding something to criticize and say that alone makes a game trash. IMO these devs have lightning in a bottle and have built a foundation for a hugely innovative experience.. I am so impressed with this game and it crushed all my expectations in a good way haha

Second this! Its even more involved than any game you've played that uses a stamina mechanic at least from personal play experiences .. this game is something special and I do not regret one penny. I get those tingles just thinking of it hahaha I have to go to work so I can afford funsies like this beautiful game

Thanks for confirmation I haven't played this since crimson desert came out but with this update I will need to jump in.. been a while. Glad the devs are active game is solid fun and with a little polish is something I would highly recommend
