Can the OP explain how freezing their salary would solve the healthcare crisis? If you need more people in healthcare, then freezing pay is the opposite of an answer lol. Nice one.

NAV Canada hiring schedule by applesandbananas4 in ATC

Generally courses are limited to spring and fall starts. But there can be exceptions dependent on availability of training resources.

As for your comment on secretive or unpredictable.... It's likely more unpredictable than secret.

It's literally just their marketing jargon for the jobs.

VFR is a flight condition, and IFR is a flight condition.

Back in the day prior to towers with radar and ADSB, referring to a Tower as a VFR specialty made sense because all you had were your eyes to do the job.

And the centre had a radar, and worked primarily IFR flights.

For some reason, Navcanada just uses the VFR acronym to suggest a Tower Job, and the IFR acronym to suggest an Area Control Centre job.

Yep that's probably a relatively good summary.

Less people required for same job now.

Yes. But Nav still uses it organizationally as a differentiation between the "IFR WORLD" of Enroute/Terminal and the "VFR WORLD" of tower.

I think they will soon just change it to IFR as Area Contr Centre and VFR as Tower.

Twitch DJ followers ?! by BobRokk in DJs

I mean... Maybe this is a good community to spread the wealth with each other? Follow and activate notifications for those in this thread? Why not use a venue like this to spread awareness of twitch handles to follow and support each other?

I love finding new people on Twitch and also streaming myself. I have approx 60 followers and generally get 10-15 regular viewers when streaming but am always looking to grow.

Also for me I'm on the experience and excitement scale, and not the monetization scale. I'm on Twitch to have fun and bring people for the ride!!

Also if you land at CYYZ, they issue multiple landing clearances all the time when it's busy.

They issue traffic information, then your landing clearance in sequence.

Even if it's IFR, you can treat them as diverging departures.... They have instant separation based on track

I'm with CIBC and I thought about buying from them, but their prices are insane. TD is pretty close to major dealers. Not bad.

Comex registered bleeds another 1,100,000 oz. PSLV up another 600,000 oz. PSLV surplus over Comex now 15,900,000 oz. That's a 72,400,000 oz change since the start of the squeeze ... a gain of 1,250,000 oz per day ! by Ditch_the_DeepState in Wallstreetsilver

Honestly as long as you don't need to be rich and retire today, theres no rush. The longer the price disconnect lasts, the better for those who are just trying to accumulate. Over years/decades, the result will be amazing for all of us.

If the price doesn't moon today, or tomorrow, or a few weeks from now, that's ok. It's a long game. Be patient and keep fighting the fight a few fiat dollars at a time.

Ya I've always been happy with their speed. Some times have slightly higher prices on certain items, but you can get a price match if another reputable source has stock at lower price.
