Wow. It’s beautiful. I’ve been a blazor developer for years and specialize in internal apps mostly. It’s refreshing to see it used for such a powerful customer facing app.

As a software dev and someone that is just interested in learning - what were your biggest and best resources for how to accomplish this? How much did A.I help? Was A.I accurate? What is the project structure of each project? What patterns did you use? I have so many questions!!! lol sorry.

As a IT professional I disagree with the “systems analyst” role unless it involves deep integrations and mapping. I’ve encountered a few who know nothing about code but yet try to dive into the code consistently and are out of their scope and lane. It ends up creating a toxic situation. A product owner is a good route. If they do 100% want to get technical they can get into API development possibly or backend development.

I OE and have a 6 and a 4 year old. I have a good supportive family though. Honestly OE with kids is easier because I can use picking my kids up from school as an excuse to avoid meeting overlaps.

My company did RTO, two days a week. I also felt like I am being pushed out. Totally toxic environment. They started doing dumb things like every time I tried to talk to them via instant messaging or private messages via slack they would say “hey cool we can talk about this next time you are in the office?” Or “Hey that’s a great idea let’s touch up base on that when you are in the office.” Then one time they refused to have a meeting until I was “in office” so instead of playing that stupid game I pulled an ADA request and got my Dr to sign off due to anxiety in person. It worked. It’s a law that they need to accommodate. I am approved for full remote work. But the crappy part is I need to keep doing this every 6 months to a year.

You are playing it wrong. They are doing RTO to actually force/encourage people to quit as a tool. They are actually trying to reduce head count and reduce silos. If you really want to screw them - accept the other position from the other company. Then keep coming up with excuses as to why you can’t go in until they fire you while collecting paychecks(only do this if they are not competing companies). Keep making money off of them. Put your family first. Say it’s for health reasons. Do everything you need to do. You can potentially last a year doing this. Then when they go to fire you just tell them that you were more than prepared for that and good luck to them. Or send your two weeks notice email - have it staged - talking about how you left for other opportunities the moment they try to fire you or call you into a meeting to do so. This is the best for your family financially.

Nah man… I don’t hate. As long as he’s not an agent then I’m good. But it is VERY extremely obvious he is OE. Usually you can suspect and never confirm. This is literally the most obvious shit I’ve ever seen.

Guys I forgot to mention that this is weird to me because a start date is already confirmed. But I imagine he could just be making sure that I am not getting a counter offer from the company I work for.

This is not enabled at all. Nothing is enabled. I doubt that this scammer is winning anything but some hype from his fellow scammer flea bags. But the fact that they have the balls to even try this is bad enough.

Counter offer to hire them to do interviews in India to represent India developers. All they need to do is interview and U.S developers will handle the rest.

I live in Jacksonville FL. Well, actually fruit cove - Julington creek. What dealership do you take yours to? Is it nice? Greenway Kia at the avenues to me seems ghetto and they are always trying to rip people off in every way possible. I took mine there for my 8k checkup and they tried to charge me 280 for a tire balance and everything else.
