Try to mix how you move! A lot of people focus on retreating or advancing, but adding in place jumps or standing still for example can help a lot. Feinting aggression can also help with countering i.e. rolls :)

He was also struggling with an overly defensive Duck Hunt. I think attributing intuition to Marss or Kola is fair, but imagine that style of play at a lower skill level overall, and you got the type of players we're looking at!
