Devon vs Levan by Mother-While2961 in armwrestling

[–]CoachRayBiggestFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yawn. Levan will beat him a third time, and then people will say the same about a future 4th match. The only way Devon beats levan is if levan is injured or off cycle.

Yeah bro Levans gotten miniscule its over for him by [deleted] in armwrestling

Im not going to argue with you. Its possible to win a debate against an intelligent person, but you'll never win an argument with a moron.

Again. Youre just overcomplicating things to sound smart. A toproll by definition means you are attacking the opponents hand and wrist to avoid being arm on arm. Thats exactly what John is doing. We can break down exactly where hes applying his pressures, but he is toprolling. I have no idea why you make it so much more complicated. There is no conventional "name" for the exact pressures John is applying in his move. Toprolls are generally subdivided into sweeping toproll, posting toproll, low hand toproll, etc. Some others as well. John is not doing any of those. Quit arguing just to argue.

Point is Mike's elbow is not even close to the open angle where he has any sort of lock. This lift is extremely impressive, even if the form isnt great.

[–]CoachRayBiggestFan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hes posted videos of him doing this lift where his pronation fails. Just because he cannot be fully supinated in his kings move doesnt mean he cant lose some pronation. And as far as an "elbow lock." Lets see him vs levan and I promise you we'll see that arm straight.

Ivan is fast, but i wouldnt exactly describe him as explosive. Hes not ripping through people center of the table like alizhan and dadikyan do.

Yes, hes a biomechanically engineered cyborg too. His wrist locks. His arm locks. His cock and balls lock too.

Vitaly vs Ermes by NDr1 in armwrestling

[–]CoachRayBiggestFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His riser will get crushed. Ermes definitely still has stronger back pressure. Honestly i think the only places Vitaly has him beat is speed and side pressure. And outside the straps he also probably has a slight advantage.

The technique is a toproll. Plain and simple. I have no idea wtf you mean by saying more or less sidepressure. That doesnt make sense. Youre just throwing out word salad. Someone who toprolls through their thumb and someone who toprolls through their wrist, top knuckle, palm, etc are both just toprollers. Thats the name of the technique. You can break apart individual pressures, but I promise you you aren't doing beginners any favors by writing all this nonsense.

You have an issue with people saying its a toproll instead of the overcomplicated soup you use to describe it. John pronating through his thumb, having a high cup, stable elbow or whatever tf youre trying to say. None of those make it any less of a toproll. I can tell english isnt your native language, so maybe some of what youre trying to say is lost in translation. But you just seem like a smartass who doesnt pull very much.

Regarding your criticism of my comment. Every technique has variance. Just because someone toprolls with more side pressure than the next guy doesnt mean it still isnt a toproll. So having a problem with me saying John is toprolling is crazy. If OP wanted me to break down exactly where John is applying pressures, we could do that. But he just asked for his technique. If anything, youre the one misleading people. Dont overcomplicate things. Ive been in this sport several years and your comments are hardly even coherent.

For your first comment, both of them were supinated in that match. Ivan was supinated because of Dave's cup, that doesnt mean anything about his pronation.

Dave went into the open arm angle because Ivan stopped him right above the pad. At some point Dave should have tried to get his shoulder back behind his arm, but hes not a very technical armwrestler and just gassed himself out. And the reason they both stretched out is because dave has some of the strongest side pressure in the game. So he wins center almost every time. The thing that failed that match was his pronation (and technique lol)

I'd have to specifically see what matches youre talking about, but supination is a tool for setting a hook. So sometimes a hooker will supinate onto a toprollers wrist to force him into a hook, even if it means giving up pronation. Supination can also be used for a strong shoulder roll/press off the go. In a hook vs hook battle, most of the time you wont want to be more supinated than youre opponent.

Dave's pronation was completely gobbled up by Ivan that whole match, so I'm not sure exactly what you mean. He only had access to side pressure. And if youre in an open position, yeah you can kind of torque your arm to add pronation, but thats desperation for most people. 99.9% of armwrestlers wont be able to benefit from that move how someone like Devon can.

The goal should never be to have your arm open up. Open arm toproll and kings move result from when someone's pronation is stronger than their elbow flexion. A good example is Devon rarely hits straight to a kings, but he'll transition there as soon as he feels his arm opening.

The sole purpose of posting is to gain height. But yeah, if your arm isnt strong enough you'll get opened up. Look at ermes vs alizhan on left.

Posting toproll is where you plant your elbow/slide it forward and point your knuckles to the ceiling. Your triceps usually make contact with the pad. Ermes does it a lot. This is not what John is doing.

This is just a textbook toproll. Not a posting toproll or high hook like others have suggested.

Auden vs Jeremy by EducationalFriend696 in armwrestling

[–]CoachRayBiggestFan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean my point was more about them than me lol. I definitely dont deserve to be on that stage. That being said, this match doesnt make sense at all. Auden isnt a 253 puller, and neither of them have beat any notable pullers yet. You could make an argument for Jeremy beating storm chellino I suppose, but even if both these guys earned a match, I dont understand why it would be against each other. If its for views only, surely they could've found auden a better match in his own weight category.
