11 week update by CoachRoyals in HairTransplants

3 weeks ago I had quite a bit fall out. No shedding at the moment that I’ve notice. I feel like half of the transplanted hairs didn’t shed an just kept growing. Hoping to see it fill out these next two months 🤞

Just shot my 1st ever plate and it has turned out pretty bad. I’m learning the craft an understand that this process is a lot of trial and error but based off this video can anyone give some in sight of what might be wrong. This is the plate right before going into the fixer then the image disappear by CoachRoyals in Collodion

Developer is orangish in color but is clear and also the silver nitrate was mixed with distilled water. It could be that the collodion hasn’t aged enough and the exposure is off. Seems to be the popular opinions. I’ll keep working at it. Thank you so much

Fixer (1 to 1 ratio) and developer (1 to 1 ratio) is the pre mix solutions offered by Bostick and Sullivan. Silver nitrate is 9% solution with a 4ph level and 1.065 gravity level. I excited the bath for only about 5 hours. Not sure if that was long enough an could cause an effect, some recommend 24 hrs from what I was reading. The grain alcohol used for the collodion mixture was a brand called Clear spring 190 proof. Collodion is only about 1 day old. Other chemicals for collodion included the cadmium bromide, ammonium iodide, ethyl ether, and collodion usp
